The apartment is upstairs - and there are other apartments. The entire apartment building is very clean and attractive. I loved the style - and the patio too. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the patio because it was a bit hot and humid - so the AC was my haven. There is AC in the bedroom and living room. The bathroom and shower are large. Just wonderful. The neighborhood is lovely. Beautiful coffee shop a few yards away, and a local food market around the corner - eat where the locals eat! There are many food vendors here! The area is quiet, and I felt completely comfortable walking around. Getting a GRAB ride was always very easy. Traffic is light, so there is no rush or stress getting into your ride. The owner is super friendly and helpful. If I lived in Bangkok, I could live here - I really loved it.
I think the home would be just perfect with the addition of a small table with chairs. As there was no regular-height sofa (seating is very low), a table and chair would be great for putting on your shoes, eating a meal, or working on a laptop (there is a table and chair on the beautiful, large patio - but it was extremely hot and humid when I stayed - so I wanted to stay inside in the AC).

Very attentive if you needed anything. Room was very clean and beds were quiet and comfortable. Shower got nice and hot and road noise was not bad at all. Air conditioner worked great and location was pretty good.

The location was perfect - it offered an authentic local experience while still providing easy access to all the main tourist attractions. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We were also able to leave our luggage on the last day, which allowed us to make the most of our time in Bangkok - a huge advantage that we truly appreciated. There is also an amazing jazz bar just a three-minute walk from the accommodation, which is a real hidden gem.
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok!
