Excellent location. Old house keeps cool in summertime. We did chose appartament without balcony but next time would take with balcony. Very frendly host and it feels like home.

A great place to stat, close to beach and restaurants.

Franka is a great host. She meet us at the ferry, helped us with everything we needed and even gave us local wine, fruits and hommade chockolate cace.

Exceptional

We loved everything about Villa Franka. Franka herself is super wonderful. The best host :) We had the apartment with the large terrace for a couple of nights and it was fantastic. Then the top floor for an extra night as the other one wasn't available when we decided to extend because we enjoyed Lopud so much. Also great. We'd love to come back!

Great, wonderful apartment on a lovely Croatian island.

Absolutely wonderful. The host made us feel like friends. We really appreciated their hospitality especially their extra effort to let us in the room earlier in the day. Recommended!

Great Lopud

The place is really great and cosily. Franka and daughters very nice and friendly. The location, the island i am very recommending to anyone who likes to rest and enjoy.

We really enjoyed Loput, pronounced :" Low-putt ." Fruit and olives grow everywhere.

We upgraded to an apartment upon arrival for an additional 50 Euro, it was worth it. The place was new inside and very clean, windows offered a nice peek-a-boo view of the harbour and almost the sunset, this was a really nice island to visit. Our first night there, Franka invited us to dinner, she made stuffed peppers, it was one of those memorable evening's. The location was nice, but keep in mind, this was a small island. So it didn't require a lot of effort to get from point A to point B. Franka is friends with the owner of the small hotel there, I'm not talking about the big, white, ugly, monstrousity around the bay, this was the small place right in the village. It was a good place for breakfast and dinner.

I think her daughter, Vanka, may be taking over eventually, and let me just say that she isn't Franka! And, the golf carts to the " south beach," were expensive, loud, uncomfortable and smelled of fumes and the food over there was pretty rough. The one thing in favor of the south beach was no wind, on the north side it can be windy, but that is where the town is and the harbour of course.
