Myst Boutique Hotel

Very nice and comfortable room. The jacuzzi was heated and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly.

The location was outside of the main town. But only a 15 minute walk uphill.

Great location, 10mins walk to Oia(hotel offers lift up the hill for free). Rooms and pool looks like on the pictures. We didnt test lunches restaurant much but two things we had were tasty. Friendly staff

Breakfasts are to be chosen from four options day before to be brought to the room. Tasty but quite limited. Would consider adding one more option with wegetables, hams and cheeses. Also, it has to be planned for what time you want it if you late you may be left without the time slot that fits your plans.

Great staff, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the breakfast was great. Everyone was helpful across the board. Was upgraded for our first two nights also.

Pancake portions are small. Pool turned both of our swimsuits green.

There were a few positives: • The shuttle to Oia center is a big help, since the hotel is downhill and around 800m from town. • They also offer transfers to the port, though they’re quite pricey. We chose a different service, but theirs is convenient if you want everything handled. • We appreciated the late checkout, since our ferry wasn’t until 4pm. That was genuinely helpful.

We stayed at Myst Boutique Hotel for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon trip through Greece, and unfortunately, this was the most disappointing stay of our entire trip. We had just come from amazing experiences in Athens and Milos, so our expectations were high—especially considering we paid 333 euros per night, and it was still early in the season (so not even peak demand). We arrived at the hotel around 2pm, knowing check-in starts at 3pm—which is totally fine. But we were only taken to our first room 3:20pm, and after realizing it wasn’t what we booked, we had to wait again and finally got to the correct room at 3:40pm. Not the smoothest start. The check-in process itself felt more like a sales pitch than a welcome. From the moment we arrived, we were being sold activities, reservations, and transfer services. We had mentioned this was our honeymoon and we were hoping for a relaxing stay, but nothing was done to acknowledge that or make the experience feel special. We had booked a room with a private jacuzzi, but the first room they gave us had the jacuzzi completely outside, up a staircase, and in a shared space in front of other rooms. Not at all what was shown in the photos, and definitely not private. After raising the issue and waiting again, we were finally moved to the room we actually booked. To be fair, the final room was lovely—spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast, however, was another weak point. You have to fill out a form every day to pre-select what and when you want to eat. We were asked about it multiple times, even casually walking around the property. Overall, we had much higher expectations for this hotel—especially for the price and occasion. The experience lacked warmth and hospitality, and we just didn’t feel well taken care of. Compared to our stays in Athens and Milos, this fell flat. We wouldn’t stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend it—especially for something as special as a honeymoon.
