Martin the host made us very welcome ,our room was very comfortable,breakfast was superb and the history of the name of the pub ,very interesting.we would highly recommend the Water de Cantelupe.

Excellent breakfast. The host was helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was good and the location was on a main road, traffic noise was minimal due to double glazing.

When we arrived approx 4p.m. Martin had locked all the doors, and there was no signs to say where to go. We had to phone to get access, we feel a notice or bell for visitors could be more helpful.

Absolutely fine, warm welcome, the pub was not open at the time of our stay for food & drink but adequate facilities were literally across the road where we eat & have a drink & relax, on the whole really satisfied

Martin is a great host, comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit. Ideally placed for worcester, Malvern and Tewkesbury or M5 for stopovers.

It was A lovely welcome by Martin, who was fantastic throughout, the decor was amazing something totally different for us but we loved it, and the breakfast was no less than brilliant! Which was cooked fresh by Martin

Martin is the most perfect host. Nothing is too much trouble and he attends to your every requirements. The room was in the eaves of the property with some low beams but that made it so quaint.

This is not a hotel or the welcoming inn with great beers and restaurant we thought we had booked. We arrived and the pub was shut As it is every Monday and Tuesday. There was no food available as food is only served Thursday to Sunday. This is not mentioned on the website nor in the booking details. The owner said I had booked a bed and breakfast only deal and I should have known everything was shut. I have checked your site many times to see if I missed something but I don’t see how I could have known and feel I have been misled by both the pub and Booking.com. Also there a fixed charge of £12 per dog also not mentioned on the site.

The owner Martin was very helpful and welcoming. He cooked us a lovely meal from his speaking menu. Overall a lovely stay.

it’s a quaint property. Martin is a wonderful host, the breakfast great, and the room is very comfortable, if not a little low in places ( over the toilet for example). we’ll happily return should the need arise.

Three nights stay and not a single adverse comment or experience. I thoroughly commend the Walter de Cantelupe Inn.

Our Host Martin was very friendly and hospitable. He literally run's the place himself, so probably works 7 days a week. Very nice Breakfast.

Room was very small with restricted height in both the room and ensuite, which we weren't informed of. Bed was very uncomfortable. For the price paid (£100), we were very disappointed, when you pay less at Premier Inn and get far better comfort.

The hospitality skills of Martin the owner was faultless. Very clean and excellent vegetarian breakfast with parking facilities

My room had a sloping ceiling as it was in the oldest part of building which made the room feel less spacious then it was and i would have preferred a free standing wardrobe to hang clothes and i stand up shower instead of a shower extension in bath

Initial odd reception but pleasant comfortable room with complimentary soft drinks in addition to tea & coffee. We were directed to the pub over the road for dinner but was quite acceptable. Breakfast was good and Martin our host was nice enough.

Very dark bar which was not open when we arrived but fine when directed over the road to a light and airy bar serving good value food in both the bar and restaurant.
