The staff was very nice and friendly. The location is far form the city center but close to the old town, so you can see the authentic Thai lifestyle and all the temples are close. The locaiton is cozy, good value for the money.
The room I had was a bit small, the sink, the table - were quite small too. But, if you're not spending too much time in the room anyway (like it was in my case), it won't matter tremendously.

Nice functional albeit small rooms. Big communal room with terrace overlooking the canal, kitchen, washing machines and dryer available too. Residential neighbourhood with two gorgeous temples close by (one opposite), and plenty of local restaurants. Location is great with canal boat pier 5mins walk and both Khaosan Rd and Chinatown 20mins walk; Bang Sue Grand Station (train) about half an hour depending on traffic.
Will stay here again when I'm in Bangkok :)
Communal room and terrace need large fans to bring cool in the extreme heat and wifi needs an update as speeds are not great (if you need to work online).
