Firstly, the location is incredible! You’re less than a minute’s walk from the beach, shops, markets, and everything else you could want.
Secondly, the owner is incredible. I’ve been solo travelling for years, and honestly, he is by far the best host I’ve ever come across. He goes above and beyond every single day to make you feel comfortable and to make sure you’re experiencing the best of Bodrum, whether that’s restaurants, shopping spots, swimming spots, or hidden gems.
If he sees you sitting at the table by yourself, he’ll come over and ask if you’d like a tea, and before you know it, you’re chatting away like old friends, laughing and talking. He genuinely makes you feel so welcome.
He’s honestly the greatest. If you’re nervous about solo travelling, have been doing it for years, or are travelling with friends or family, this is definitely the place to stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough
The bathrooms could benefit from an upgrade/refurbishment.

I loved staying at Denizati Pension! This was my first time in Bodrum and it's the perfect location - close to beach, restaurants, bars and anything else you could want. Akan was such a kind and welcoming host and I felt very safe here as a solo traveller! Simple, clean and lovely accommodation (with a great breakfast and Turkish hospitality!).

Good location very near the beach and port but in a quiet corner so not noisy at nighttime. Comfortable bed. Friendly owner.
Bathroom was simply substandard. Cement instead of floor. No shower cabin and drainage system so poor that water was going all over the floor during shower completely flooding whole bathroom and not drying for hours. Sink unusable due to the fact that water in the tap was scorching hot. Overall very unpleasant
