Family made it easy to book tours to Vinh Moc tunnels with a guide and then transportation to Hue for a fair price. Na checked me in and spoke decent English. Trit is her father and my driver who speaks limited English but google translate and Na helped. Overall, it was smooth.
The slippers they gave me to wear in the house were pretty old and dirty. New or clean ones would help. No places to eat nearby as it’s outside of town unless you speak Vietnamese. But, the family can cook for you instead. Otherwise, it’s a great place as a connection to see things outside of the town.
