リゾートエリアでリーズナブルなお宿

朝食が種類も豊富で美味しかった。ロケーションは、リゾートエリアの中で色々と充実、海も目の前で綺麗だった。何よりリーズナブル。スタッフは、基本的に親切で優しい。

ホテルのエントランス前に歩道がないので、巡回のバスとか車に遭遇すると歩きにくい。エアコンから水がボタボタ落ちてくる。スタッフの説明不足か、迷うことがあった。

立地もよくアクセスも良好な上に歩いたり、モビリティーを利用できたりして便利でした。

最上階の角部屋を用意して頂けたこと、近くに散歩できる環境があったこと、清掃は頼まなくてもして頂けてサービスも良かった。

Do not stay here - very dirty & bugs

Staff was friendly

When we first arrived and went to our room, the door was propped wide open… this raised concerns about safety. The room was also disheveled. Housekeeping was not on the floor so it wasn’t because the room was being cleaned. They switched us rooms after we had to ask multiple times. The second room was disgustingly dirty and had multiple bugs!! There were bugs in the bed and crickets in the AC unit. We tried to brave it out but eventually informed the front desk. They moved us to a third room. This room was just as dirty as the second room! Most good hotels would offer to move you somewhere else or at the very least to a clean room with no bugs… nope! We had to go back and forth with management for close to an hour before they allowed us to move hotels (the hotel we moved to is owned by the same company). The hotel breeze at did not give us a refund even though we didn’t even sleep there one night. They initially said what we already paid would be reflected and subtracted from the total of the new hotel (which we had to pay additional money out of pocket for) but when we got the bill from the new hotel, there was no deduction of the amount we already paid. We essentially got scammed by hotel breezebay- the rooms are not what is shown in the pictures and even if you have multiple issues with your room they don’t refund you or put you somewhere else/clean for free. Very upset!!

The staff was great. Location is good if you want to access all the major places on the island.

The room was dusty and moldy. The bathroom was also very old, moldy and smelly. The bed sheets had several old blood stains on it which is pretty unacceptable for the price you pay. The bed mattress was also atrocious! Very thin and I had back sore for 4 days straight. Finally, the Portofino restaurant on the 1st floor was horrible! Breakfast was meh, but I would deeply recommend to avoid dinner there!!! The coffee machine was broke for 3 days straight! wut! We ended up eating breakfast everyday at the bakery right next door (which was delicious!).

free shuttle between shiguira complex (hotel-thermal pool-beach) small private beach at the hotel.

breakfast starting at 7am is too late, there were a lot of stressed elderly people in line before the service start. Many people wake-up early in the morning so starting breakfast early would help to not be overcrowded as it was when I stayed at the hotel. It is very frustrating during rain season when you have only few hours of sun you see a sunny morning out there and you have to wait for breakfast. The pool should be open until 22:00 because there's nothing do at night in Miyako a pool bar and music would turn this hotel in a great resort.

Breakfast buffet selection was brilliant, staff were very friendly, facilities were clean, beach very convenient

Horrible, Horrible Customer Service

The location was good. Miyako Jima is a beautiful island.

As a small business owner, I usually cut businesses a lot of slack but I have to speak up about an absolutely horrible stay at the Miyako Breeze Bay Marine Hotel (part of the Shigira Seven Miles Resort). We paid 1,400 USD for myself and my daughter for a three night stay. The room had cockroaches, a horrible poop smell came up from the bath trap and the beach at the resort was closed due to a “typhoon” the day before the typhoon arrived. All other beaches on the island were open so we rented a car and swam at five amazing beaches. The service at the hotel is horrible. I have lived in Japan for over twenty years and speak Japanese so language was not the problem. The worst experience was the last night I was eating with 20 friends and they said I could not get the course menu that night because “there was no more food”. I wanted to pay for the course but was told “no food”. I was last to join the dinner party so accepted to eat buffet. I was told four times by the assistant manger “not to share my buffet with anyone”. It was like I was five years old. Got the message -no sharing my buffet. However, When I sat with everyone else they served me the course appetizer as everyone else. I was confused, so before eating we checked that everyone else had their appetizer plate. Everyone else had their plates so I started eating the appetizer assuming maybe they found food. Half-way through the appetizer the waiter came up and took it away saying, “no you buffet”. I said ok, but let me finish so you don’t waste the food. He said “no throw away”. Absolutely crazy behavior. I served myself buffet all night (not a problem). Note: The course and buffet looked very similar. When coffee was being served out of a coffee carafe, I asked if I may have some since they were serving my party and again I was told “no you buffet”. It was being served out of a carafe, not being made one by one.

Fantastic stay - would love to come again in summer!

The location of the property is great! The buffet breakfast kept us going for the entire day. The food options and the onsen nearby make it an easy stay for couples or families alike.

The english ability of the hotel staff could have been better but it still didn't pose a problem. More drink machine facilities in the main building would help.

Garden and pool is nice.

When we arrived we were welcomed in a beautiful shiny lobby of the hotel. When we arrived at our room we were welcomed by animal feces next to our room door.( I guess it's still there.) The kitchenette wasn't cleaned for ages. Coffee stains, mold, dirt...same with the dishes and table. I insisted that the room was cleaned again. It was better but not clean! Before corona this would have annoyed me - these days it worries me. I wonder if an appropriate corona cleaning has been done!?! If it is impossible to perform a normal cleaning.
