About this cottage rental

Escape the city bustle and unwind in this charming 2-bedroom cottage nestled in the serene countryside of Rachamps. Ideal for a family or group of 4, the home offers central heating and a cozy wood stove for year-round comfort. The private terrace and fenced garden create a tranquil setting for sunny breakfasts or evening barbecues. Surrounded by nature, the region invites mountain biking and scenic walks. Explore nearby Bastogne (11 km) with its renowned War Museum, or visit Houtopia children's center in Houffalize (7 km). La Roche-en-Ardenne is just 40 km away for a day trip. Essentials like supermarkets and restaurants are conveniently located 3 km from the cottage. Inside, the renovated interiors blend warmth and practicality. Pets are welcome (up to 2) for a small fee, and safe parking is available on-site. Charging for electric/hybrid cars is offered at €15/day. Please note: pets should not be left unattended indoors. Public transport is accessible at 30 km.

Things to know: First this cute old house is adorable and we found the location convenient for our stay. Private parking space off the road was nice. Bathroom is on the ground floor so if you are older and can’t do stairs in the middle of the night you should know this. The host is friendly and you can tell cares about the environment. As an American we were surprised by no soap in the bathrooms and one roll of toilet paper. Also be sure to read the fine print. You will be charged for “renting “ sheets, kitchen towels and bath towels.
