Nice little hostel with the friendliest owners

The owners were such lovely, welcoming and amazing people. After arriving to Capurgana, we had a few experiences of meeting some not so nice people, whilst asking for directions, buying SIM cards and exchanging money. So we were cheered up by the two hostel owners who welcomed us with open arms and put a smile on our face. The hostel was open, airy and really clean. It had all the facilities we needed and we found it to be great value for money!

It could get a little loud in the mornings but wasn't a big deal

great place

great location just a short walk to the main square. the property was clean and secure and beds comfy. the couple that own it were honestly so lovely. They are amazing. even washed our clothes for free. would def stay again.

The hosts are the loveliest people!! Very patient with my poor Spanish. Very clean and quiet. Definitely recommend

A little walk to the dock (only 5 minutes though) well lit and easy to find but benefits by being much quieter!

Amazing place. The hosts are so friendly and helpful.

A fantastic place in capurgana. The building is newly built so everything is super clean and tidy. The hosts are the most amazing people ever. A couple that moved from medellin to start a guesthouse in capurgana. They are so helpful and kind. Highly recommend hostal zurymar.

Very good

Jose and Gabbi are great hosts and allow guests to use the kitchen and ice in the freezer. Jose walked me to the hiking trail entrance to.Sapzorro as I did not know the way. Wifi was good and the hotel is solar powered , a real benefit as the diesel generator powering Capgurna is unreliable.

Touch to sleep in as vehicles and animals are noisy starting at 630am.

I was going to stay a night, and added 5 more. I would have stayed longer, if it were possible.

Clean and comfortable. This is a large hotel room with an open courtyard and easily accessible from the dock.

Exceptional

A very nice and clean hotel in the quiet part of town, very lovely and friendly owners and clean and modern amenities. I highly recommend the place for anyone looking for a good night sleep and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The owners are very helpful and take care of you like you are part of the family.

This relatively new hostal (built 2017) has spacious rooms, good wifi and especially the greatest hosts in the world. Don Jose and Dona Gaby are exceptionally hospitable, making you feel at home straightaway, providing you with coffee and a chat and everything you need

Lovely place; Amazing owners; maybe avoid the town in January

The owners are fantastic and tried so hard to make our stay the best. They even picked us up from the port. The location is very close to the port and not too far from the beaches.

We stayed in January and the prices were 4x higher than usual, which was a shame, but seems pretty standard for the town...
