Nestled in Oneida Lake, this attractive cottage for $206 per night is a great option for your next break. Our calendar is updated in real-time and our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click "Book Now!" Waterfront cottage nestled in a quiet, secluded bay on beautiful Oneida Lake. This cozy, well stocked space is best for a couple, or a family of 3 or 4 with small children. Enjoy swimming, fishing, and water sports from a 100-foot aluminum dock. Guests can bring one boat to the rental. A small boat can be tied to the dock (approximately 2-foot water depth), or to a mooring further out (approximately 4-foot water depth). There is parking available for two vehicles and one small boat trailer. On-site kayak, canoe, and small boat launch. Experience the outdoors by cooking on an outdoor propane grill (Blackstone 36" flat top griddle), dining on the lakeside deck with a four person dining table/umbrella, and enjoy breathtaking sunsets in the lounge chairs with shade umbrella. Lakefront gazebo with 4 lounge chairs and propane fire pit included with the cottage rental. Portable fish fillet table available. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. One includes a sit/stand desk for remote working. Quality linens are provided. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. Keurig. Blender. Crock-pot. Newer luxury vinyl and porcelain tile flooring throughout, county water, propane heater, electric kitchen stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, 1 small bathroom, single shower, living room smart TV for your apps, Wi-Fi. WOODEN GAZEBO/DECK: The wooden, enclosed, lakeside gazebo on the adjacent property is not shared with neighbors. It is available for cottage guests to enjoy. This quaint little building, with wrap-around lake views, has a queen sleeper futon sofa inside, and lounge chairs outside to relax and unwind. PARKING: Maximum of two cars in the driveway, and one small boat trailer on the adjacent lawn. Picturesque little cottage located with a water front view. Much need break from work spent every morning enjoying a coffee while looking out at the water. It is off the beaten path but still close enough to explore all the sides of the lake. Loved our stay and the host always responded quickly to any questions we had. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome updated cottage! I am a clean freak and this place was spotless. Everything was intentionally placed… from a wardrobe closet in the master to a hook to put your towel outside the shower. Basket of snacks, soap, little makeup removal wipes, k-cups for the Keriug etc. The lake view was gorgeous. There is plenty of space on the deck, by the fire pit, right on the edge of the lake the other little dwelling with mini deck. The inside of the cottage itself is small, but perfect for our family of 3. Shower and bathroom are a bit of a tight squeeze but manageable….that’s the only thing that I can even critique. We loved it and highly recommend.

We had a blast at this cozy cottage on such a beautiful lake! We enjoyed the great sunsets and had fun visiting the suggested attractions. The host,Traci, was super responsive and attentive. Would definitely come back! I can only imagine how pretty the fall foliage will be in autumn!

House was very clean.
Our real only complaint was the Wi-Fi was in an out the whole time. Otherwise it was a very nice place. I thought it might’ve been a little tight for the four of us but it was perfect.
We would revisit this place again.

You simply can't go wrong with this booking! My family stayed there, and my children (ages 7 & 11) never even wanted to leave the property. They especially loved the peddleboat which we didn't even know was there till we booked.
It's a clean, quaint house on a quiet lake spot. The host goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She left a snack basket with things that everyone in my family loved and even checks in via messaging throughout your stay to make sure all is well. The neighbors are also very nice, with two sweet dogs.

Online pictures were accurate but didn't really convey the comfort & hominess of Cardinal Cottage. Traci thought of everything you might need when being away from home--the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans & utensils, making cooking easy & there was shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap in the shower. There was even a welcome basket of snacks--which was delicious and appreciated! Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had one very windy & rainy day but it was so nice to be inside the cottage just watching it through all of the living room windows. Great views, since you are directly on the lake and we enjoyed cider and board games on the deck and wine on the dock. Communication with Traci was easy and she was quick to respond. Checking in & out was a breeze. We agreed with other reviewers who mentioned the hot water issue but since it was mentioned, we were prepared for it. And the comfort of the cottage, for us, far outweighed any minor inconvenience that staggering showers may have caused. Cardinal Cottage is definitely someplace we would like to visit again--so beautiful in the fall but we think a summer visit might also be fun!

I wanted a quiet house right on the water for vacation and this place delivered by a load! The pictures don’t even come close to doing this property justice. Fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay, even snacks! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here even with rain everyday. We would absolutely do it again!

My sister and I have rented many houses on Lake Ontario and this one was perfection. You just have to look at the pictures to fully appreciated what you will be getting. The only remark is it really is only for a max of 4 people. There were only two of us and it was perfect. I would highly recommend it and two people that visited us wanted the information to rent it also.

Beautiful Cardinal Cottage
My sister and I live in different states and wanted a relaxing place to vacation with each other for a week. Cardinal Cottage was a perfect choice! The cottage is beautifully furnished. We loved the grassy yard and lake right outside the door. The host was promptly responsive to my texts and the property is well cared for. The area is quiet and peaceful. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely, relaxing getaway.

Great experience, right on the waterfront. My 2 almost 3 year old loved going out on the pedal boat and there is a great park/playground less than 1/2 mile down the road. We came to visit family that lives in the area and really enjoyed being waterfront, so relaxing. It is a small space but very well thought out and equipped. The outdoor space provided ample extra space for our family. Landlord/owner was very responsive when needed.

A home away from home!
If I say that we are thinking about coming back then that should speak volumes. We are very particular. The details that have been put into this adorable place were quite impressive! The bed was so cozy, loved the gas fireplace and the inside of the cabin was so clean. The fire pit and enclosed surrounding was awesome! It kept the bugs at bay at night. We didn’t use the gazebo much but to keep our fishing gear in, but it has everything you’d want. My only tiny disappointment was that I wished the decking was cleaned up a little in regards to old foliage etc. and the fish station was cleaned. Honestly, minor details but like I said “particular”. The property manager is amazing and speedy with responses; absolutely nothing felt like a hassle. Thank you for an incredibly relaxing getaway!!!!

Lovely
we were looking for a quiet out of state stay where we could fish and enjoy peace and quiet. That is exactly what we got. If I could rate it 10 I would. The property manager was extremely useful in telling us about how the property worked, what was on the property, and what expect. Never did we feel lost while on the property. We will definitely be staying again.
