An amazing house, far beyond our expectations!
We stayed for two nights as a family with two children in this beautiful traditional Japanese house, which is part of an important historic building.
Upon arrival, the lovely host gave us tickets to the nearby museum, where we learned about the history and traditions of the building and the family who once lived there.
The house is spacious, beautiful, and incredibly comfortable, with warm and thoughtful hospitality. Bottled water was provided for our entire stay, along with a coffee machine and fresh towels for each day.
The only things worth knowing in advance, though they weren't a big issue for us, are that the kitchen isn't equipped for cooking. There is a microwave for heating food, but no stovetop or cooking utensils. There is also no washing machine, although a self-service laundromat is just a few minutes away.
The surrounding area is absolutely lovely, with a supermarket, bakery and restaurants within walking distance, and Amanohashidate is just a very short drive away.
We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this special place!

Everything was perfect! Beautifully planned, extremely clean, great location and a very nice and welcoming host! Would definitely recommend and come back again ❤️
The museum next to the property is really beauty as well 🙂 The Japanese bedroom we chose
to sleep in offered a very nice view of it as well🥰
No complaints at all 😃
