I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at the property. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The view from the large lanai is breathtaking. We could have spent our entire stay out there. The inside of the condo was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would love to book this unit again on our next visit to Maui,

We highly recommend this property! The view is breathtaking! The beach is absolutely beautiful! There is a wonderful sandwich shop/bar on the property by the pool. There is also an activity office to book anything you may want to do and the real estate office for the condo if you need help or have any questions on the property as well. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Take a short walk down the beach and you will find a wonderful little Farmers Market, a convenience shop and the BEST Hawaiian Shaved Ice ever! So much Aloha spirit on the property and throughout all of Kihei! We definitely plan to come back! Mahalo!

Great well stocked , nice size, ocean front Condo on a quiet beach.Large corner balcony ( could use more chairs). We loved the pool and hot tub. The barbecues became an evening party with the other guests. Location was great, close to food shopping and restaurants. Beach chairs and towels were a plus, but could use a “pack & play”. Internet was fast and appreciated.

Nice condo, but the fridge is too big for the niche - it’s nearly impossible to get anything in the freezer.
At the time we were there, this side of the island was very windy.

After the first day property was excellent, when we first arrived there were tiny midges all over the unit. Not sure if cleaning folks let them in before we arrived but once they died or we killed them unit all was good. There is a sign warning about the weather impacting them this season resulting in larger numbers this year. We quickly entered/ exited the front door and balcony during the stay and it was fine. Unit as described, was clean (other than midges), location is outstanding, beautiful beach and view from the balcony.

We loved this beachfront condo with its large covered lanai and breathtaking views of the ocean, beach and surrounding mountains. We could have spent the whole vacation at the resort and been happy! The lovely Sugar Beach is clean, uncrowded and perfect for long walks and dips in the ocean.
There is a yummy sandwich shop/bar and a snorkel shop on the grounds, and shaved ice and bakery close by. One of the surprise highlights was the Wildlife Refuge just down the road where we walked along a boardwalk and saw Hawaiian Stilt birds and their adorable babies. If you want to see the sites of Maui, the condo is centrally located to get anywhere you want to go on the island fairly quickly.
Our biggest disappointment was that the pictures show lounge chairs on the lanai, and those were not there. Also, the description said there would be coffee to get started, but there was only a small packet of decaf. Bath towels were very small, and be sure to bring shampoo/conditioner as there were only two tiny bottles for four people for a week. We did appreciate the beach chairs, umbrella, and microfiber beach towels, and the condo was nice and clean.
We wish we could have stayed longer in Maui and at Sugar Beach Resort, and hope to come back someday!

I was really disappointed upon checking in to this property. It is very dated with old / worn furniture. It was not cleaned with chips and a dirty toothbrush on the floor. There were little gnats everywhere. Not sure if it was because the cleaning lady left the sliders open or not. Dirty and stained towels / dish towels. The clothing drawers were filthy. When I reached out to management, they only addressed the fact that beach towels were missing. This place is definitely not worth the crazy per night rate.

The location of being right on the water was amazing. However, I am very disappointed that there was no mention of the indoor cameras. It gave the place a creepy feel and made us feel like we were being watched. Which is not what you want on vacation. For the amount of money I spent, I would have hoped to be comfortable. I brought my Mom for her 75th birthday and was embarrassed that I selected a place to stay that made her more than uncomfortable. The fact that there are indoor cameras should be highlighted for those looking to book a property. I ensure you I would have picked another property if I had known there were indoor cameras and I could be being watched at any time. Horrible experience

The property was clean and well appointed. The kitchen came well stocked. The 4 beach chairs were great to have, although 2 of them were a bit tired. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. The furnishings are a bit dated but comfortable and there is plenty of seating. Definitely the highlight is the view and outdoor space. We saw whales everyday from the balcony and spent as much time out there as possible. (It was extremely windy while we were there which was a deterrent). Our daughter lives in Haiku, so Kihei was a perfect and central location. The pool and surrounding grounds are well maintained and it's wonderful to be able to sit on a lounge chair on the grass and watch the ocean.
One side note: We have 2 plumbing issues, one in the master bath and one in the kitchen sink. The property manager was very responsive and both issues were fixed the following day.
We have a wonderful vacation staying at PH35!!

The building itself is showing its age, but the view is absolutely amazing- great whale watching and beautiful sunsets. Condo was clean and comfortable and perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4.

This Condo was great for us! I wanted a bigger condo this trip that would accommodate cooking a Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.

The most beautiful sunsets right from your balcony! Beautiful unit with all that we needed. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Great location for hitting all the must see spots. We even saw whales right off our balcony. Would definitely come back…..only longer.

This was a great central location to base our time in Maui. We were awed by the ocean views and enjoyed coming back to the condo almost as much as we enjoyed going out during the days. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Stayed in Maui many times and a few times at this resort, but not in this unit. This is the first time we never went to any other beach. The water was perfect, the snorkeling was plentiful with many turtles and the beach was wonderful for walking and very uncrowded compare to others. The unit was well equiped with enough stock to get you going and the kitchen was well equiped.

We stayed here 10 years ago and the place is still a great place to stay, balcony over looking the beach and rolling waves can not be beat. Thanks for allowing us to stay.
The only bummer is people still leave towels on chairs to reserve them no dif than on a cruise ship. Jude!!

The property location is very convenient and the view spectacular. But, the condo does need updating and the twin beds were horribly uncomfortable. We were given limited toilet paper for a week stay, as a "toiletries starter kit", and instructed to purchase this essential item if additional needed. We were told this is standard practice on Maui but we have never been asked this in the past at other Maui rentals, and residents of other units in the same complex denied this as their experience. Limited beach towels provided and no pool/ocean supplies like floaties or chairs in the unit. Overall, despite the view, would not endorse as a great experience compared with other places we've stayed on the island.

Great central Maui property and location! This was our first trip to Maui so we stayed in 3 places on the island (Kihei, Hana and Lahaina). This was our best condo rental experience.
Nice beach for walking a good distance in either direction, fantastic views, nice quiet area (easy drive to everything in Kihei and Wailea, but condo is away from the high traffic areas). We had no trouble finding grocery stores, many wonderful places to eat, great beaches, hiking, snorkeling, shopping - everything we were looking to do!
Loved the condo. It was just like the photos and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the views from the lanai and liked being on the top floor, however, we had a group of adults who thought walking up all the stairs to the unit from the parking lot was good exercise (the elevator is at the other end of the bldg). The only minor issue we had was regulating the temperature. (The 2nd bedroom remained warm throughout our stay, while the master was cold.) Like I said, minor issue. Otherwise, our stay was delightful.
We so appreciated the nice beach chairs and awesome towels that were available for our use!
We loved the condo and the area. Thank you for making your property available for short-term rental; we would love to stay there again!

Unbeatable view
This property was ideal for our family of four. We loved being separated from the crowded resort areas, and just relaxing with our million dollar view for the week. Relaxing on the large lanai and walking along not-too-crowded Sugar Beach. The condo was large enough that our teenage daughters had their own space as did we.
We hope to come back soon and stay here again!

Our only complaint was the parking deck is very tight and we had a minivan rented. You have to be very cautious!!

Condo is as advertised. The view is amazing and has an oversized balancing to enjoy it from. Beds could use an update. Kitchen well appointed.

Beautiful property with great views. Everything went perfect. The property was clean, brand new and comfortable carpet in all rooms. There is a sign asking not to wear shoes inside the property which was completely understandable considering the new and clean carpet. A/C was nice and cold, beds were comfortable. Maybe a couple of extra pillows would be nice but we just sleep with a lot of pillows. Overall, we definitely recommend this property.
