Door right on the street had multiple people trying to get in through the night. Blood on the bed and the walls.but a very nice interior design one blind that faced the street was missing.

Nice Place, Frustrating Communication Process
Nice Place, Frustrating Communication Process
The place itself was great. Exactly as pictured and described. However, the listing agent would not communicate through VRBO. You are required to sign up with an unannounced third party Nest Host site that sends computer-generated auto-messages from multiple email addresses. I never got responses from any of those email addresses either. Seems there is no actual human to contact or respond to questions/requests, as all my attempts were ignored and left unanswered in both systems. Now I'm left wondering how to get my deposit back...very frustrating. Like I said though, place itself was clean and nice.

The location was the city character we were looking for. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The open concept made it easy to make food, visit and relax while seeing the city atmosphere outside. We did experience difficulties settling into the property as the heating system was not working, the thermostat could not be set to auto and the unit was 29C when we arrived at 5:30pm. Also, the baseboard heaters were set to high, therefore we communicated these issues to the property manager and owner immediately. Noone came to verify the situation until mid-afternoon the next day and we needed to manually shut off the baseboard heaters and have only the furnace fan running. Our first evening was spent trying to communicate the difficulties and being instructed to try our own solutions. We had to leave for a few hours, eventually, because of the heat and could not enjoy our first evening there. Mid-afternoon the next day the property manager came and after validating the situation asked if we wanted a technician to come or to wait after we checked out 3 days later. We opted not to have another day of disruption to our vacation and manually adjusted it on and off thereafter. We also were led to believe we would have a parking pass upon our arrival but had to ask for it. This was delivered 24 hours later. They did say they would reimburse our parkade fees for the time accumulated. There were a few cleaning details that we have communicated to the owners, but it was disappointing to have paid for cleaning and it was not nearly as clean as we left it. This is a great place with potential to be a fantastic city experience if these types of communication issues and property maintenance were to be improved.

We just returned from a 3 night/4 day stay at this 2 bedroom downtown condo. As this was my first visit to Winnipeg and we wanted to be able to get around on foot to see the City, this condo did not disappoint. The location was in short walking distance to restaurants and the Old Market Square. We loved the urban feel of the condo. We had everything +++ we needed (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms) and even though it was right downtown, ground floor, the windows were covered with a privacy "film" and we didn't feel we had to close the blinds and miss any of the city action going on. Thanks Chris for your quick response to my mistakenly taking the parking pass with me when we checked out! I will be more careful next time - and there will be a next time for our family.
