Rockridge has a blend of urban action yet still maintains a friendly neighborhood with a welcoming sense of community. Our Gary Parsons designed home has 2 bedrooms/2 baths upstairs (including a deep soaking tub) and a vaulted ceiling, light filled master suite. Walk less than 10 minutes to numerous popular restraurants, bars, coffee shops, exercise studios, spas, food markets. High end kitchen, barbecue and fire pit for your use.

All new and very clean. Excellent location near all the restaurants and shops of College Avenue, in Rockridge. Ed was a super host, responded quickly every time we contacted him. This was our 2nd stay at this lovely home.

Conflicted about writing a review because I want it to be available the next time we visit Rockridge. This is head and shoulders above other homes we’ve visited. Spacious, comfortable, clean, equipped with everything you need in a great location.

This is a fabulous property. The kitchen and baths are completely updated. The kitchen includes every utensil/pot/pan/dish you need to make dinner. So many don't! It is close to markets, restaurants, and transportation. My family agreed that we would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the host for providing such wonderful accommodations.

From the moment we checked in to Ed's house we knew it was going to be special. Ed was a great host and lived up to who I thought he would be based on our pre-occupancy emails. The house is wonderful, is fully equipped and in a great location just off of College Street nearby many of Berkeley and Oakland's best restaurants. Ed facilitated parking for our rental car by pre-purchasing our parking permits for us for the month we were there. In all this was a 5-star place to stay. No doubt we will be returning!

Between the home, which has been totally remodeled and offers every convenience, and the neighborhood which is adjacent to College Ave (restaurants, shops, book stores, BART stop, TJ and coffee shops), we had a wonderful time staying at this VRBO. The TV offerings were also great (important to my husband during baseball playoffs:). Home is full of light and super comfortable. We already have made plans to return. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in Oakland. Ed’s home is very comfortable and the location worked out great for us. I enjoyed the kitchen and gas grill outside making quite a few of our meals. The kitchen could use a new skillet. The ones available were a little past their prime. Also, it was very warm when we visited and the beds only have heavy duvets on them. There was only one light weight blanket to use. Most of the nights we needed a little more than a sheet and the duvet was just too warm. Overall, I think this was a gem of a rental. We appreciated how clean the home was. Walkability to the shops, restaurants and Bart station was perfect. Thank you Ed for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to be back again.

My husband and I had a fantastic one-month stay at Casa King! The house exceeded our expectations: the interior is modern and extremely comfortable, and Ed is accessible and easy to deal with. What a lovely comfortable home. The design is elegant, the renovation was impeccably done. It's in one of the best neighborhoods in Oakland (for restaurants, shopping, public transport). Nothing was overlooked in terms of our comfort. Owner available and helpful. We will surely try and book this property next time we visit our son. This is our third VRBO stay in Rockridge and was definitely the best (among some pretty great ones).

Fully remodeled and renovated home is clean and welcoming. We stayed for two weeks with a family of four. Owner clearly paid attention to all details around convenience and comfort. The location is super accessible to walkable shops and restaurants, as well as access to the rest of the Bay Area either by car or BART. Would definitely consider this property again on our next trip to the Bay Area.

Great home with a beautiful kitchen and a convenient location. There is a lot of natural light throughout the home. Everything is brand new and super clean. I loved how the two bedrooms each had their own bathroom. The sun streaming into the kitchen every morning heated up the house quickly.
