Located in Lake Tawakoni, this attractive house for $411 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. THE GREAT OUTDOORS If you're coming to Lake Tawakoni to get away from it all in nature, this is your place! We maximized the lake views with multiple huge & comfy outdoor living spaces. A covered back deck has a sweeping lake view, a sectional sofa, dining table, and BBQ grill. And there's more: play foosball, sip drinks at the Mahalo bartop, or watch TV on the outdoor 50" flat-screen—all outside in the lake breezes! Not to mention your two-acre lot that's shaded by multiple towering pecan trees. A serene fountain is great for your morning meditations, and private fishing pier lets you experience some of the best fishing in Texas right in your own backyard! MAIN HOUSE DETAILS Thoughtful Spanish Modern design welcome you to Lago Vista—which was totally remodeled in 2019—and walls of windows let in light and lake views. Keep the views close as you hang out in the sunken living area, prep meals in the gleaming modern kitchen, and dig into group feasts at the 6-person dining table (with space for 4 more at the nearby bartop). Three deluxe bedrooms in the main house include a king-size master suite, a queen guest room and a sleepover-ready bunk room with two full-over-full bunkbeds and a twin trundle. Each mattress is high-end, organic, and wrapped in butter-soft luxury linens for an extremely comfortable night's sleep. Both the master en-suite bathroom and the guest bath were recently upgraded, with indulgences like a walk-in shower with two showerheads (one is a rainfall!) in the master bath. CASITA DETAILS The Casita at Lago Vista also features end-to-end lake views from the open-concept common areas and upper-level deck. This space sleeps 4 with a king-size bedroom and another bedroom with two twins—all with high-end mattresses and luxury linen. Both bedrooms share a full, newly remodeled bath with an exquisitely tiled walk-in shower. A full kitchen, mid-century modern dining table for 4, and living area with a flat-screen TV make this an ideal spot for the grandparents, newlyweds, or anyone else who wants a little extra privacy. (This space shares no walls with the main house; it attaches at the garage.)

House was perfectly suited for all out guests. Very nice house and great communication with host. Not having a means to dock the boat each night was a draw back but we made it work. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location and property for our kids and grandkids to come together for a week. Great fishing and very close to the State Park for wonderful days out and swimming. Will certainly be looking to come here again next year!

We celebrated a friend getting married with 8 girls and we could not have asked for a more relaxing getaway. The home and upstairs apartment were absolutely perfect. It felt just like home and so comfortable. We never ran into anything we needed that we did not have. I did have to message the host a few times before arrival and always received a timely response. I hope we can continue to make this an annual trip! We would love to go back!

The home is beautifully decorated and appears to be recently renovated. It has 2 parts the main property and a 2 bedroom apartment both have very nice outdoor sitting areas. The home is furnished very well. It sits on a large lot directly on the water and has private dock for fishing. It does have a few maintenance needs and the outside areas didn't appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival and Sabrina can be difficult to contact or non-responsive at times. BUT I would stay here again and in all a VERY NICE home and was perfect for our stay!

It is a very spacious house and property. With everything you need.. Right on the lake. There is not a boat ramp on the property. But you can put in about 5mins away. We went fishing in the morning. We could dock by the house and come eat lunch then go back out. Very convenient.. Without loading and unloading the boat. The owners are very accommodating. We will be back next year. Loved this property

Please note that within the first hour of arrival I stepped off is near invisible drop off and wound up with a broken arm that is scheduled for surgery on Thursday the 20th. Please note that other than the numerous steps around house this house was clean and spacious. Because of the fall and injury I would like to settle this amicably so please call me as soon as possible.

We had both house and apartment and everything was great! We caught a lot of fish right off the pier as well we will be back! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home!

My family had a very nice time at this rental. The weather didn't cooperate to allow us to enjoy the backyard for very long, but I can see this would be a great place to stay int he summer time.
A couple of suggestions to improve the experience is to repair the main house hall bathroom so that the door locks. It was just my family with me, so it didn't matter as much for us. Also, some of the pots and pans are in bad shape, the non stick coating completely scratched up.
All in all, I would consider renting this location again.

Booked the property for a family NYE get-together and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was the best-equipped of any vacation rental I've ever visited. Thanks for having us and look forward to returning!

We rented the main house and casita. Everything was very comfortable and the location was great. We enjoyed the porch and other outdoor spaces. We would definitely book this place again.

The location and property were beautiful. The home is minutes from Tawakoni State Park and our grandkids loved the swimming beach at the park. They also made great use of the kayaks at the property each afternoon.
The home was well furnished and nicely updated. There was ample room for our party in the main house and the upstairs casita was an enjoyable, quiet getaway. The kitchen and family room are open concept which was great during meals.
The only drawbacks were the roads getting to the property were very rough and dining out was further than we anticipated with limited selections. We realize the property owner has no control over these issues but wanted to give an informative review.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time with our family.

Relaxing Getaway
Was a great place for our annual trip. As the kids get older, the more space they need. House had a great layout and plenty of rooms for us all to sleep comfortably. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for visiting and game times. Lake was low but still had a fun time exploring.

Best Family Trip Ever
Our stay at Lago Vista was exceptional! This was our annual family guys' trip, so the anticipation of activity during our stay runs high. With a couple acres accessible, we maximized the grounds by fishing, swimming, throwing the football around, playing cornhole, kayaking and chipping plastic golf balls beyond the trees toward the lake. As for the time spent inside, the bedrooms were spacious, relaxing and provided each person a sound night of sleep. While only one kitchen was used, just knowing a second kitchen in the Casita was available for additional food and beverages was a nice bonus. We are already looking forward to booking another trip in 2023.

This lakeside retreat was a wonderful place to stay as we celebrated our son’s wedding at The White Sparrow in Quinlan. This property has beautiful views, was sparkling clean, and welcoming for our group. We slept beautifully and had everything we needed. It is just as pictured.

We had a wonderful, relaxed time with plenty of room to spread out inside as well as outdoor accomodations to enjoy the lake view and the night skies. Our only disappointment was the boat dock and the swimming area. We couldn't use the dock as a place to load onto the boat because there's no ladder. And the swimming area had lots of sharp rocks. Everything else was great.

We had a great time! Very nice property, clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. Amazingly comfortable beds. The house is a bit far from the water to carry things to the boat and back so we brought a garden cart that made it doable. We hope to stay again sometime.
