Home is nestled in a wooded setting on a hillside sloping down in back for tree-house like views of wooded back yard and a walk-out lower level (one lower bedroom w/sliding glass door to private deck). First floor private bedroom with queen bed and en-suite full bath. Separate half bath on first floor. Upstairs master bedroom with queen bed shares full bath with loft. Basement with two bedrooms and full bath as well as game room/additional bedroom and separate laundry. Large living room with gas fireplace and vaulted ceiling open to loft above with beautiful windows/light. Light wood throughout. Modern kitchen open to dining room which opens out thru sliding doors to back deck! Spacious back deck with natural gas Weber grill for barbecuing. Perfect Lake Michigan dune cottage! At Stop 2, so close to Washington Park, the Zoo, the splash pad, the Marina, Fish Camp restaurant, and the Lighthouse/Pier. Beach is in great shape here (no seawalls needed, lots of sand). Enjoy the serene back yard view with trees and birds while you sip your morning coffee and plan your day on the beach or out and about. Lots of stuff to do nearby - Outlet shopping, breweries, restaurants, golf, Lake Michigan with it's endless possibilities. We can refer you to top deep sea Lake Michigan Captains for a day of Salmon and Trout fishing. Full internet with WiFi and google pucks to keep the signal strong as well as Roku TV in all rooms. House has had only one owner since built and they were meticulous - it's in like new condition, come and check it out for yourself!

Had a great stay here! The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own space but still enjoyed spending time together in the living room. The dunes were a short walk away, even a playground for the little one! We’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

The house was nice, 10 minute walk to the beach and a park. We had some maintenance issues while we were there but the owner was very quick to respond.

House is a short walk to the beach, has plenty of beach toys and chairs. Nice big porch with natural gas BBQ (no need to get propane). Kitchen is well stocked. Beds could use an update as the mattresses are good for a few days but not the most comfortable.

The house is huge and can realistically sleep a dozen people. It was well supplied in terms of linen and kitchen amenities. Beach is a 6-7 minute walk and is lovely. We had a minor plumbing issue but the owner sent someone to fix it quickly. This was a girlfriends' weekend getaway and we had a great time.

The house was large and comfortable for my family. There was plenty of beds and lots of space for us to eat together on the deck. The layout of the kitchen was awkward. One of the plugs 2 plugs in the kitchen went out, so we used appliances on a rotating basis. The kitchen was well equipped with all kinds of appliances and sharp knives. There was everything I needed to bake a cake with my grandchildren. It is a short walk to a lovely beach. We had a great time.

The house was clean but the deck railing was a little jakey so I didn’t allow my grandson on the deck. Unfortunately, every queen bed had mattresses where you feel the springs when you lie down. That is the worse when your visit is a week long. I’m not sure the owner has ever slept there but definitely give it a give a try.

My cousins and I had a great experience staying at Todd’s place. The home was clean and extremely roomy for larger groups. The large parking area was also a big plus. Being within walking distance from one of the beach entrances was very convenient as well. We definitely enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in Michigan City.

I paid 1,000 for a two night stay. The house is very spacious but for what I paid, the furniture, the linens, the amenities are very outdated. I really wanted to take a bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub but the stopper was removed. The fireplace is fake. The beds are squeaky and old. I just expected more. Very disappointed.

It was a great experience...of course it was winter and cold when we arrived in the house. We couldnt figure how to light the fireplace even after watching many how to videos needless to say the house took a while to warm up. We also couldnt figure out the gas grill, maybe we have a thing about gas and lighting pilots so we werent able to use the grill for our meal and the stove only had three working eyes. Other that those small things (which are big during Christmas and dinner) we have a wonderful time in the house. The house was clean and well kept and they provided everything down to the smallest of things. I brought trash bags they had em, extra light bulbs, which we needed for one of the bedroom lights and plenty of beds to choose from. The bedrooms each offered something special which made it hard for us to choose but we eventually chose our rooms and was satisfied. I love the house and will tell everyone.

Found the property to be exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of beds for the men on the trip and plenty of baths as well. Cleanliness was good and plenty of pots, pans and utensils! The only real complaint I have is possibly the cable TV. It seemed to be very basic cable without ESPN etc. There seemed to be apps on a couple of TV's but were not very technologically savvy so we couldn't figure that out... Just a Comcast with a sports package would have been great! Thank you for having us!

We stayed for a 60th birthday party. This home is large, beautiful, well stocked, and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet. It was a short 8 minute walk to the beach. Owners were great with communication. Would definitely stay here again!
