Great time. There were roaches in kitchen and lower level of house.

I was happy with how spacious the house was.There was good communication with the host in the beginning of our stay.
The yard was dirty & branches were everywhere! The hot tub was dirty with sand in it! The grill was filthy and we were unable to use it. We were unable to use the back of the house! The view was beautiful, but doesn’t make up for the unkept yard, the filthy hot tub or the grill that was unusable! The WORST of our stay was the COCKROACHES in the kitchen! I was so upset about it, and embarrassed that my guests had to witness them! When I reached out to the host she said they have been trying to get rid of the cockroaches for a month! She was well aware and admitted to there being a problem, but chose not to tell me! I was only able to cook dinner for my family once, I wasn’t taking a chance with cooking after I saw them. I cut my stay short, I was disgusted knowing that the cockroaches were there! This trip was to get together with my children and grandchildren that I haven’t seen in 7 years and it was ruined with the messy yard, cockroaches and the lack of concern that the host had.

This is an older home with many updates. It is a very good location that worked well for our vacation. It was our second time staying at this property and works well for a larger group. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. Claudia was very responsive and accommodating to our early arrival. I would definately stay here again.

Claudia is a fantastic host who is very quick to respond/easy to contact. It's clear she cares about her guests. We had a small issue that was resolved promptly. Great location, lovely views. Understandably the property is old, but have marked 4*'s as it does need a few things repaired here and there. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Loved the house and perfect location! Everything was a 15 min drive or closer. The View was amazing.
There was a small set back with having the roof done. We were very understanding and the owner was very accommodating in making up for it. when we go back next year we will be booking here again!

It was nice for the price. The biggest problem was the hot tub. It was suppose to be only for the the house. However, another renter in one of the smaller units used it. Not really a concern since we did not use hot tube.

The property is ideal for a large group, although the house could use some refreshing. It has been well used.
Location is wonderful. Very unfortunate that last hurricane took out the dock.

The house is old and in need of attention. However, it was warm and extremely comfortable inside. The futons downstairs are not for older people.. hard. But once we put additional padding, they worked. Really a home for two or three families with kids! Great vacation rental. Owner/manager was terrific!!

What a great old house! It wasn't perfect but it was such a great location and ample size for our family.
We were there for the weekend to go to a wedding. The kitchen was more than enough for all of us to get in and cook some great meals. (Plenty serving dishes, plates, flatware and pots & pans.) The full size Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer were very useful. The air conditioner worked great!
If I were to share a complaint with future guest...the only complaint is - the kitchen sink was stained. I scrubbed on it to no avail. (I wonder if the cleaning crew had used something to strong and it stained the sink.)
Overall a great historic house.

This property does not match the photo of the outside at all. The owner was very friendly and great to get in contact with. However, the cleanliness of this home was not up to the standard it should have been. House is in excellent distance from all Daytona attractions.

When I called owner about how unclean the house was she offered a small refund for our cleaning fee which has not been returned, she also stated that she and her house keeper had just been there the day before we arrived to clean. I was told that I could leave the house and find another place that met my expectations. The listing was posted as a four bedroom and in fact it’s only a three bedroom. This would be a Great place of the owner would spend more time cleaning and updating the house and yard.

This lovely property was the perfect gathering place for family during Daytona 500 week. Lots of beautiful space--rooms were lovely, lots of open space to gather, location near Halifax River, with fishing pier. Close to all the action, but quiet for restful nights. TV options poor, Wifi a little "iffy" at times, but didn't affect our enjoyment of the house and the area. Would definitely recommend.

Met our work trip needs!
Our team enjoyed the location of this home as it was in close proximity to our conference. The house needs a more thorough cleaning before guests arrive. For the overall price it could also use a few minor updates. Host is very friendly and communicative. Thanks again!
