About this house rental
This is a tiny home with many custom features, firepit outside, grill, pond within walking distance. Great escape from the city. We have wildlife daily. Deer galore!! However, we are only minutes from all the great activities Glen Rose has to offer. Stairs are steep as this is a tiny home. Lots of room outside for kids to come and be kids. The stars at night are nothing you get in the city. Catch and release in the pond

Host was very responsive. Cabin was very cute! Extra nice bathroom and shower. Very pretty setting and handy to Glen Rose.

Our stay was very nice. The location was very convenient for going to the local dinosaur attractions. The host was very nice and hospitable. The only problem with the stay was the rooms were located on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first floor, but this was more of a physical problem since getting older stairs are a little more difficult to traverse, and having to get up in the middle of the night to "go" was tricky. The host has donkeys and they made the trip very interesting, to say the least. The first day, they stood in the middle of the driveway like "Ye shall not pass" lol I got our scratched one of them behind the ears though and they moved out of the driveway. Honestly, we had a lot of fun on the trip, and I think the donkeys added to the experience.

The host was very nice . The place was nice enough for the price. But I had 3 problems. 1st the internet password was not posted. About 10 text messages to the host and finally got it to work. 2nd the fold out loveseat was way past its usefulness! Luckily we found a inflatable bed in a closet and it was nice. 3rd and the most important! (The STAIRS) . Let me just tell you we are 3 old lifelong carpenters who have built hundreds of stairs. We decided that these are the worst built and the most unsafe stairs we have ever seen ! Who ever built those stairs absolutely did not know what they are doing. These stairs would not pass any kind of inspection. They need to be ripped out immediately and they need to get a professional to design and build a new safe set. It can be done.
