The cottage is an older home but it had what we needed and was as described in the listing. The view from the back deck is very nice and private.

First let me start by saying Lynne is totally an awesome host / property manager! This place was newly renovated and had all the amenities of home . Lynne didn’t cut no corners with providing all the small luxuries of being at home. She had snacks for our arrival which were a great surprise and a very nice touch, being we did arrive after dark. Now for the house , it’s an older house and made for getting away from the hustle of a busy life or city living. The view from the back patio is breathe taking. The beds are very comfortable and Lynne provided nice clean covers/sheets for our sleeping pleasure. We were able to prepare our Christmas dinner here with no problem. It’s very close to I26 Highway so it made it easy for us to travel to South Carolina and various parts of North Carolina during our stay. The coffee maker and coffee provided by Lynne was just another small touch that made the stay here so awesome! If you’re really looking for peace and quiet this place is the place for you , a little mountain and country living . Lynne even provided wood for the fireplace which it wasn’t cold enough for us to use , but once again it’s the small things that were provided by her which made our stay so wonderful. Everything you can imagine when you’re on the road with your family was taken care by this hostess. The shower was great with hot water daily and internet was fast efficient. I need to emphasize that this not a five star hotel but a real getaway off the beaten path but close enough to get in and out of the nearby cities. I can’t thank you enough Lynne !
