Easy to check in, thoughtful host has provided a cozy, light and airy cottage. Well appointed kitchen, living/ dining area, bedroom and bath were all immaculate and looked out onto the marsh and dock. We enjoyed sitting on the deck morning and evening. Very comfortable and updated. Very peaceful neighborhood, right next to a walking/biking trail. Six minutes into town was very convenient! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return! Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Spartina Place Mermaid Lookout! Comfortable king size bed. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Bicycles to ride the Spanish Moss trail were so nice. The dock was a highlight for us. Beautiful sunsets every single evening. Watching the tide come and go was fun, looking for what ever marine life we could spot. We even made use of the lawn chairs provided when we attended an author speaking event in town. Their place was clean and we felt safe. We loved Beaufort and the surrounding islands. We spent 7 days and never traveled more than 20 miles away and that was to Hunting State Park, which they provided a pass for! All that to say, there was enough to keep us busy for an entire week in a short distance. Learning about the history of the area was a special treat. We will return!

Beautiful property with dock and the space had everything we needed. We had a great time. The bikes and bike path were an added bonus. Would have loved to use the paddleboards and kayaks but missed the tide timing. Hope to return!
