This condo is located in Crystal Tower, which offers such wonderful amenities as pools, a hot tub, a lazy river, fitness facilities, a sauna, a grilling area, and a beachfront boardwalk. You'll be half a mile west of the center of Gulf Shores and Highway 59, where you'll find an assortment of family-friendly attractions that include Waterville USA, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Spend a morning exploring Gulf State Park (two miles east), tee off at the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club (eight miles west), time your visit to attend the Hangout Music Festival or the Annual Gulf Shores Shrimp Fest, and dine on excellent local seafood at nearby restaurants that include The Hangout and Beach House Kitchen & Cocktails. THINGS TO KNOW This condo allows monthly reservations between November 1 and March 15. The property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 11. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Unit was clean and as expected. The kitchen is minimally stocked- has most of what you need nothing more. There were no wristbands in the unit so we had to have them bring us some. (The employees do ask to see them.) Pool and hot tub are great. There is only a couple feet of sand at the beach which was a bummer- but I know they’re about to start fixing that over the next few months. Overall good stay.

We had a great stay at this unit. The only trouble we had was the dishwasher. We were on the 11th floor, and the balcony was my favorite spot. I short distance to everything and many things within walking distance! So much fun!

We love Crystal Tower and have stayed in different units over the years, but none before managed by Vacasa. And we don't plan to again! To make a long story short, we had no working refrigerator from when we arrived on Tuesday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. After many texts and 2 different people coming to look at the fridge, it wasn't until we drove to the Vacasa office that we actually got something done. But when they finally brought a working fridge, instead of taking the non-working fridge out, they put the working fridge blocking half the hallway! Then on the last night of our vacation, the freezer part of the non-working fridge (the freezer had been working all along) began making loud banging noises, disrupting our sleep. Other things: one of the toilet seats was broken. One of the decorative bed pillows was very dirty. The bed skirt was tacked on with heavy-duty staples and tacks which fell off on the floor, and are a real hazard to be stepped on. I noticed in another review of Vacasa that someone stepped on a tack in the night, and obviously they have not rectified that situation. Vacasa offered us a partial refund for the refrigerator situation because a lot of our food spoiled, but over a week later I have yet to see the refund.

The property was clean and as advertised. The view/experience from the balcony was better than expected as you can still hear the waves even though you are across the street. It was a short, easy walk to the beach.

We have been to these condos before and we liked them so we chose to come back. I’m giving the condo itself 3 stars because of cleanliness and a few other factors. The facilities are great…pool was clean for the most part and the amenities were also clean. The experience with the condo itself was not great. When we got there the master bed was not made. The sheets were not even on the bed so I had to call Vacasa. They told me it was a misunderstanding but I have never had to make my bed when on vacation. Definitely frustrated about that, which I told the manager but she didn’t respond when I said that via text messages. A few other things to note: - fans were dirty - Lock on door broken, did not latch - Dryer was dirty, had to vacuum out lent - Had to wipe down some doors bc they were dirty - Back door furniture was dirty. -WiFi was not good Alabama shores is a great vacation spot, the food was good and the atmosphere was great. The condo needed to be cleaner. We stayed 5 nights and spent a good amount so we definitely expected a cleaner condo.

Condo was very clean; however, they was no seal under the door so cold air came in until we stuffed a towel underneath it. Cable was constantly going in and out and someone used tacks to secure bed skirting. My husband stepped on one when getting up during night.

No problems at all. The only that happened during our stay was one morning inspectors knocked on our door to inspect windows and doors. It would have been nice to know they were coming and wondered if they would have come in when we weren’t there.

The condo was very clean and well kept. The only things we were disappointed in was the master bedroom TV was the smallest in the house and was not "smart" so we could not connect to any of our streaming services but the other rooms could. Also there was no hair dryer which would have been fine had I known ahead of time. I guess I should have looked at the amenities but I just assumed there would be one. This our second time staying at Crystal towers and the location is great. Easy walk to the beach and pool across the Skywalk. We will definitely come back!
