I got scammed here. Find a different place and don’t use booking.com or Vacasa

The website on booking and Priceline showed a nice indoor pool in the photo section and stated it in the amenities. Come to find out there is no indoor pool but they plan on building one. It also showed a completely different look to the interior of the room with nice counter tops and modern appliances. Our room was furnished with 30 year old appliances and half of everything was broken. Absolutely horrible.

Great stay

Visiting primary for concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, it was extremely convenient and within walking distance. There is a path behind the condo, and felt safe walking even in the dark.

The bed was extremely hard to sleep on.

Nice clean unit and great location

The cable did not work on tv. I called twice to have it fixed and they said they put in a ticket but never called back or came to fix it. The unit smelled like the previous occupant was smoking. There was no light bulb in the lamp in the bedroom. The carbon monoxide detector beeped and needed battery but none were in the unit. The wifi in the building also is awful. You can’t use it for tv streaming since it is practically non-existing. So no tv or internet. The unit could use some upgrades. It seems like the furniture is quite old and worn and the cushions on the couch has rips.

Great location for a concert stay but highly priced per night. Paying for the location.

The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk to the concert venue. The view was nice. Small balcony was nice. It was clean. Couch when not pulled into a bed was very comfortable. Pretty well stocked with cooking supplies.

The area was smaller than expected. The pull out couch was inconvenient when pulled out to move around. There were not enough face clothes or hand towels. The decor was pretty out dated. For the amount of money paid per night , It was great convenience wise but not worth the value in my opinion. Pull out couch sagged in the middle and not comfortable as a bed but very comfortable as a couch.

A total nightmare my trip was and I have everything documented, showing how it was a nightmare

I am very upset. My trip is ruined. I was not able to rent my services and stay at the Misty Harbor resort I could not get into my unit I drove 200 miles from Boston all the way up to the resort how to fill my tank over $100 in gas had to pay for tolls, and I was unable to get into my resort in which I had to, turn around the very next day and come home and pay more gas and more tolls. I am very upset. I am going to the Better Business Bureau with this as well as the attorney generals

Like I said, in my above statement, I am very upset. I wasn’t able to get into my resort and random my services. I am going to the Better Business Bureau with this as well as the attorney generals office Misty Harbor resort, ruined my trip. I wasn’t able to even get into my unit. The whole thing was a total nightmare and I have everything documented.

Didn’t get much sleep

it was good location for the concert

The bed was so bad I slept on the couch the second night, which wasn’t much better but at least had some cushion. The bed felt like a piece of ply wood on an air mattress. The couch and bed seem they are still from the 80s and the pics make it look nicer than it is.

Outdated, tired, overpriced apartment which seemed neglected

It was close to the concert venue and you could walk to it

the bed was uncomfortable holes in the couch upholstery mice poop in the bathroom dirty and falling off the track screen sliders to the balcony stove barely worked shower only had half the water as the other half came out into the tub no view of lake cost over $300 a night

Not worth it, find another place.

The location was good for the holiday time. The A/C worked.Nice deck for a cocktail. No view of the water, just the parking lot.

The whole apartment is very dated, it is up 2 flights of outdoor stairs, the hot water heater only let 2 adults take a hot shower, the bed is hard AS A rock, the lighting is bad, there are no outlets next to the bed, there were only 4 towels for 5 nights with no way to wash them. I contacted support services to get more and they were never delivered. The concert venue is directly behind this unit- however the AC noise did block it out. We will not stay here again.

the weekend was ok.

the room was nice and comfortable

there were a few things I was disappointed about: when we first got to the Resort there was no office person to speak to face to face, the place was just kind of dead. it was difficult to locate our room and get inside of it. The water gets cold really fast. my kids showered with cold water :( I was also told at confirmation that I would have a lake view , which I assumed I would be staying on the side where the LAKE was but we were across the street. I was also told at confirmation that there was an indoor pool and hot tub, but when we got there the pool was “broken”. my kids were really disappointed . No one told us the pool wasn’t working. A lot of families travel here to stay at a hotel with some sort of indoor pool for the kids to play and have fun since we can’t do much outside other than Gunstock Mtn. Misty Harbor didn’t really give us that warm fuzzy feeling. it was pretty boring and dead. I will be returning to Laconia as I do every year , but Misty Harbor will not be on my list to stay. perhaps Misty Harbor can make it up to us sometime soon .

The office help was disinterested in helping me. The unit had an oder of some kind. Pipes rattled at the kitchen sink. Brought my own eating utensils, no light over burners for clearly outdated and old stove, no oven mitt, no base for drying dishes,sticky arm rests on chairs. Limited closet space. Quite frankly it was of very poor quality for the money spent. I will never stay there again or book with Booking.Com. I had to call when I arrived to get code to open lockbox when I should have rec’d an email prior.

Location close to concert venue

This unit is privately owned and rented. We have stayed in other units at Misty Harbor and this is by far the worst one. The bed is like sleeping on the floor, the furnishings are worn and outdated. The hot water for a shower lasts literally 4 minutes. The AC barely cools the small space. Do not stay in unit 219! We complained and left after the first night and received only a partial night refund. Unacceptable! The picture here is my Clorox wipe after wiping down the table and chair arms in the living area on arrival.

Relaxing fun and good family time

The location and amenities can’t be beat right across from a beautiful beach and the indoor pool jacuzzi was amazing.

Overall it was very enjoyable

We had a one bedroom with a kitchen so made our own. Location very nice.

The overhead ceiling lights in the kitchen were not working, which meant not enough light in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked but no garbage bags or tin foil.

Good location but outdated

We like the location of the property.

We stayed in Unit 103 run by Vacasa rentals. We stayed at a one bedroom for 3 people, me, husband and teenager. Any more than that it will be super cramp. First off, it was hard finding the parking spot and building. It would have been helpful if a map with labels were provided. Google maps and Apple Maps did not offer where building numbers will be or parking spots. There was another building with a parking spot B103 so it can be confusing if you never been there and dark. People that were staying above us were super loud, until almost 2am in the morning even though they state that quiet hours were from 9pm-9am. The room was super cold and when we arrived at 9pm at 19 degrees weather, it took over 2 hours just to get some heat to kick in. We were tired and wanted to sleep since we had an early start and was hard when it was still so cold in the room. We understand that you turn down the heat to 55 when the last tenants leave but once the maid cleans it up, maybe turn up the heat at 65, it would have been a huge help. The bathroom does not have heat and we had to keep the doors open to make it bearable when we use it. The furnitures were all out dated, floors and bathroom were fairly clean with toiletries. However, the comforter in the bedroom had stains, hair on the sheets and stains on the sofa couch cushions which are pretty gross. Thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights. It’s hard to contact Vacasa is you have any problems, like finding where to get the parking pass and Tv channels since customer service did not know the actual place. Good thing the receptionist/management were able to help us locate our parking spot. When you call or text it takes for them to answer for at least a couple of hours by then what’s the point. For the price, it was ok. Our family still had a good trip despite the short comings of our lodging. We will not however, book with Misty Harbor again unless they undergo a renovation.
