Kariyushi LCH. Resort

Kariyushi Hotel This small seaside hotel charmed me with its simplicity and the impressive variety of marine activities available at its marine activity counter. The views are absolutely beautiful, with the sea, dramatic coastal rocks and mountains creating a wonderful backdrop! This was actually where I found the courage to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time. I didn't have to wait long to give it a go, even though there were plenty of other guests arriving to enjoy dragon boat rides and other water activities. And there was so much to choose from! The options ranged from SUP, banana boat and the popular Marble ride to parasailing, helmet diving (where you walk along the seabed wearing a special helmet that looks almost like a television set!), scuba diving and snorkelling. I also appreciated the hotel's simple, relaxed atmosphere. There is a relatively small but surprisingly deep swimming pool with a lifeguard on duty, and the beach is literally right outside — just step out of the hotel and you're there! I particularly liked the outdoor seating areas, with tables, chairs and shaded spaces where guests could simply sit and relax. It was lovely that these facilities were available for everyone to use. My room was the most budget-friendly option for a solo traveller. Although it was compact, everything was new and, most importantly, it had everything I needed. The bathroom, including the toilet and shower, was quite small. However, since I had visited Junglia Okinawa and enjoyed its spa facilities, I didn't really miss having a bathtub in my room. The bed was fairly large, and both the mattress and bedding (pillow and duvet) felt brand new. It was very comfortable to sleep in. The room also had a large wall-mounted TV, a desk with a big mirror, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a hairdryer. All the essential amenities were provided, too. Another lovely feature was the spacious balcony.

Perhaps my toilet an bathroom were small. But I was okay for my short stay!

Very limited for Australians etc Would have liked toast not burger buns every day. Yoghurt & cereal variety would have been nice.

El personal simpático

Resort... No mucho. Almohadas no muy cómodas. Abres la puerta del balcón y suena la alarma hasta que no se cierra, a cualquier hora del día o la noche. Vamos, molestias cada vez que quieres salir a tomar el aire al balcón. Ni un sobre de café instantáneo de cortesía. Todo lo que quieras lo tienes que coger de la recepción (cepillo, bastoncillos, cepillo de dientes...) Para desayunar había dos o tres opciones, bastante cutre todo. A falta de media hora para finalizar el tiempo de desayuno ya estaba todo casi recogido. Tuvimos que pedir leche porque estaba guardada. Tienes que recoger tus platos y bandejas, separar y tirarlo a la basura tú mismo... Vaya resort. Es la primera vez que vemos esto en un "resort".
