This property is perfect. It is so well appointed and comfortable. This was our second stay there and we will definitely be back. Sarah is easy and accommodating. Felt like I could reach out to her for anything but really needed nothing. The kitchen has every item you would ever need and the fire pit and seating area on the patio were the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of fishing. My husband and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in South Fork at your beautiful property. My parents lived in the area for many years and we wanted to show our kids and grandkids the majesty of the Rio Grande National Forest. Your home allowed us to do that - being large enough to accommodate them all in groups. It is convenient to South Fork and Creede and gave us a central location to take them on day trips to fish, hike, picnic and see the 4th of July festivities. The outdoor fire pit was a hit and s’mores were enjoyed several nights. Thanks for such an unforgettable time! 5 stars!

We had an awesome time staying at this cabin. It is SO spacious which was great with 3 younger kids. The cabin was well stocked and had everything you'd ever need for your stay. There is a TV in every room and the back room has a ton of bunk beds plus an Xbox. We spent a bunch of time out back playing cornhole, as well as roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We also loved having the river a short walk from the backyard. It was relaxing to hear the river flowing as we went to sleep each night. Thank you for creating such a relaxing get-away! We will definitely be back!

Quiet, peaceful home on the Rio Grande. Everything was perfect for my daughter's 40th birthday. We will definitely stay at the Rio Rainbow again.

We decided to just stay at the house for 3 days, just went to get groceries ans that's it, so we didnt really explore the town. We still had so much fun, the house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We are already planning another trip for next year and rent the same house. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time here and we had everything we needed for our large group. It snowed about 16 inches one day and someone came to clear the driveway immediately. We had a great time and would rent again.

This place is nicer than we expected. The beds and linens are better than we have at home I think. The fireplace keeps the home warm and such a fun place to gather and play games. Plenty of space for us and our 6 kids plus a friend. It’s a super easy drive to wolf creek to ski and we loved all the animals that roam the area! Such a great trip, we didn’t want to leave!

I can't give this place 5 stars and I'll explain why. However, let me start by saying the house is great. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into it. great location, comfortable beds/pillows. Overall great. We had a big group driving from 3 different states to stay here. Per the description it states that the cabin is stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. Driving so far we really needed that to be the case. Part of the reason we booked this place. One of the other benefits was the grill that was stated we could use. Perfect since we had a big group. Weren't sure if the kitchen was gonna cut it for so many people. Fast forward we get there, mind you we come well prepared, food,utensils,cooking accessories all packed and brought. Thanksgiving day rolls around which is halfway through our stay and realize we have run out of toilet paper and Paper towels. When we got there they had left a total of 4 rolls in one bathroom and 2 in the other and 2 rolls of paper towels. With 12 people including kids it is definitely not enough for our length of stay, however, we figured it was stashed somewhere. We can't find it so we message the owner and she states she only provides complimentary TP and paper towels and we should go to Dollar General and stock up. That may not seem like a big deal to you but when each family drives a minimum of 10 plus hours to a cabin that costs $$$ a day with the presumption it has everything we will need just to find out on Thanksgiving we have to go out and stock up was a bit frustrating. If we had known we would have brought some. I've never paid to stay somewhere and basic necessities are not included. We also had to fill the propane. We tried to cook dinner and it was completely empty which she later stated that she also does not provide that, you have to go do a tank exchange. overall place is great and you won't be disappointed in the house but be prepared and bring your own TP and paper towels and be prepared to pay for propane if it's empty. Again, may not seem like a big deal and it's definitely not the end of the world BUT it should be covered in the amount paid per day.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The kids loved the bunk room with 6 bunks and a game area, and the adults loved spending time around the fireplace. There’s lots of room for everyone and nice touches in every room (cozy blankets, books, and more). The views are beautiful. Highly recommend!

The house is exactly as described but even better. Our family enjoyed our stay in South Fork. We brought our 4 wheelers, side by side and dirt bikes. The riding was spectacular and it was such a great home to return to. The kitchen is stocked better than home we’ve ever rented. All the beds were comfy. The yard was huge and the river was right out the back door. We played with the kids in the yard and enjoyed the water. The kids even got in the cold river but only for a few minutes. About an hour drive over Wolf Creek to Pagosa. Our family loved this place, it is on our list as a top home to stay in!

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful cabin. The owner has gone out of her way to decorate this cabin Perfectly. It looks like it is straight out of a west elm magazine - the photos online just don’t do it justice. The property is very well kept, clean, and cozy. The kitchen is incredibly stocked for anything you may need! Owner is kind and super responsive. The internet works well, as my husband and I both worked while at the cabin. Lots of hiking near the house. The river is beautiful. Had a great stay and absolutely plan to return again. This cabin sets the bar very high for future rentals.

To say that our quick trip to South Fork was amazing is an understatement. The house is literally situated right on the Rio Grande. If you are a fisherman, this is your paradise found. It is one of the most well appointed homes we have ever rented and we have rented many through VRBO. Because of COVID, we spent even more time at the house. Rio Rainbow definitely exceeded our expectations for a property where we knew we would be cooking every meal. There are numerous areas to congregate outside and inside the home. We all had plenty of space. Thank you Hannons for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!!

Annual dads and kids trip, what a blast, there was so much to do without having to leave the property, the proximity to the river was awesome and allowed for easy fishing. House was awesome and better than the pictures showed, the bunk room was awesome for the dads with the younger kids. Wished there was a 3rd bathroom, but you can never have enough bathrooms. Kitchen was unbeleiveably supplied, it was like being in my own kitchen. Great parking for my truck and trailer full of ATV's, neighbors were very nice. We would definitely go back. My wife even suggested I take her back there with the kids..... will see about that.... Great trip, thanks for letting us share in your amazing home. Neil S. (Abilene Tx)

We’ve come to South Fork for 6 summers and this is by far our favorite house now! River location was incredible for fishing and kayaking and the house itself is perfect!
