We had a great time on AMI. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate at all. We did not get one beach day! We still had a memorable time on the island. We loved the pool and hot tub and used it a lot! We will definitely be staying here again! 😎

As described the beach was 200 steps...the wagon, chairs and umbrellas made the beach easy. Hot tub and pool were great at end of day. The trolley stop was so close, so a car is not needed...will stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Anna Maria. The house was beautiful, clean and steps from the beach! We had 4 adults and 2 kids so plenty of room. We will definitely be back!!

We had the most relaxing time at this beautiful, well furnished and clean home! It has a lovely pool and hot tub. The beach was a short walk and fairly private. The children had a blast finding sand dollars and shells! For those of us who didn't like the stairs there was an elevator that made it very convenient to get to the upstairs levels! We will be back!

This home does not disappoint. It is clean and bright. The rooftop views are lovely. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and comfortable. We had a garage for our vehicle, a huge kitchen for meals. And having the pool and hot tub to use made our stay a most memorable one! In addition, the location was perfect as you have the semi private beach (uncrowded) and we found the best local Restaurants and bars for some late night fun. Most importantly the couple of times we reached out to the contact person they responded almost immediately and the owner even stopped by to fulfill a request that was very unexpected! We loved our stay and would love to return! Highly recommend this home for your family vacation!

Decor, location, amenities, and design – if you want fancy this property has it all. From is curb appeal of handsome architect to it proximity and vista of nearby the gulf and bay, it private elevator makes a most exquisite place. My only regret was that we could not stay longer.
I am a writer, author, illustrator, and creator of photo books. My wife and I spent five days during which time I slouched at the beach, ate at local restaurants, shopped, visited the Ringling Art Gallery, took advantage of a sunset cruise, and found time to work on my books.
The residence, with its private elevator, marble flooring and travertine stairs are all evidence the original owner/builder spared no expense in what is truly a palace.
Located in a quiet neighborhood it is a short walk from the Gulf of Mexico, the three-storied residence (plus a roof top deck) is situated on Anna Maria Island between the bay and the sandy beach of the gulf.
As to views, the residence has many large windows and balconies on the second and third floor. In addition, a spiral staircase on one of the third-floor balconies provides access to the roof deck for enhanced views of the gulf and the bay.
Birding - While lounging on the roof/deck- top one we saw seagull, lumbering pelicans, Swallow-tail kites, and flocks of Quaker parrots. The island is a habitat for herons, sandpipers, osprey, cranes, hawks, crows, eagles, storks, skimmers, egrets and spoonbills.
Beach – As advertised the beach along this western shore of Florida is a 200 pace walk from the front door.
The private elevator services the ground floor from the garage with direct access to the second and third floor.
The interior design of local themes and curiosities were hand chosen by the owner and her mother.
Three bedrooms are located on the third floor. The master has an ensuite bathroom and two other bedroom each have their own bathroom.
The bed – king size bed in the master bedroom was ‘good stuff’. I realize that different bed types have different appeal. This was no pool table with a sheet. Deep, soft, and inviting – just the way I prefer.
Leading to the front door is a brick paver driveway with paving stones. The building is all concrete and exceeds construction codes for threatening storms. Within the foyer the travertine staircase accesses the second and third floor.
Two-car garage is equipped with automatic door opener and the garage you’ll find beach chairs/toys. Access to the heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi via either a front gate or through the garage.
Second-floor has a hall closet, full size mirror, a workstation with desk and chair. The smaller bedrooms have closets and shelves. The master bedroom has a double door walk-in closet with plenty of hangers and extra pillow and towels.
The master bath has a large wall mirror, double sink a tub and walk-in shower equipped with rainforest showerhead, horizontal wall mounted jets, and handheld shower. Mounted on the wall is a large screen TV. Remote is provided
The master bedroom is large to accommodate a work area with two desk and two office chairs.
The third floor has the dining area and kitchen. A charging station is provided here. For entertainment there is a large screen TV and board games. The large sofa opens for additional bed space.
Open kitchen/dining room has large windows and balconies. Dining room table includes bench seating and four chairs.
Large kitchen has an island with large counterspace and a sink. The cupboards and additional counter space and a double sink. You’ll find plenty of cabinets.
Appliances: ThinQ Large double door refrigerator with icemaker ice and water system, microwave and conventional oven, two styles of coffee maker: Keuric and Mr Coffee – and even a bun and hotdog cooker.
Third floor washing room has washer dryer. Garbage pickup twice weekly one recycling can pick up once weekly.
The beach run the length of the island and the site range from popular to quiet. The city has a large park along the shore Dolphins can be sited trolling the wave crests and fish and crabs linger near the shore in conjunction with Palmetto Avenue Beach. Red tide is an issue but only intolerable with strong westerly winds.
I highly recommend visiting the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and taking the house tour of Ca' d'Zan located near the museum.
The next time we visit we’ll probably have the grand kids with us.

Vacation
The house was great, fully stocked kitchen, towels, and linens. We were challenged with the shower knobs especially the master but once we figured it out it was fine. We had a fabulous time, boating kayaking and just hanging at the beach and then jumping in the hot tub.

The Property Manager and Owner were very helpful, but when you pay that level of money on a vacation you expect that the property is ready for your stay. The master shower, ice maker in the fridge, and hot tub were inoperable. They fixed the hot tub on 2 attempts and the shower. Since this was a townhouse - be mindful who may rent the attached unit. It is a small pool and they brought 4 teenagers - it was very hard to use the pool. The renters prior to us ignored the non-smoking rule. They used the upstairs deck as their cigar bar and left the trash for us to clean up. They also burnt holes in one of the cushions. Again, the manager and owner were responsive
