My boyfriend and I so enjoyed our stay. Our host Livia was so lovely and the space she has created for guests is fantastic. Great shared outdoor spaces. We enjoyed being an easy drive to hiking and the Elgin Wine Trail experience. We will be back. Thank you!

The room was very cozy and had everything you need. Use of the jacuzzi was nice. Lots of places outside to relax & enjoy the weather. The owner is on the property & very nice. Overall, a very peaceful relaxing vibe. We will be back...

Extended my stay....
Casita Paloma 1 is in a well-equipped, charming cottage. The bed is wonderfully comfortable, the room and all utilities clean and modern. Livia is a gracious and accommodating hostess who can offer information about the area. It is about 1/2 mile to town, easily within a walk, where there is a selection of restaurants and a couple of shops. I am very familiar with the area, the birding, trails and nature, so being there is like a 2nd home. I always plan to go back.

We had an amazing stay in the Garden Casitas! The studio was beautifully put together and comfortable. The gardens were peaceful and definitely encouraged relaxation. We didn’t get a confirmation email with details of what to do when we arrived. However another guest used a different site, and said they did receive arrival instructions.
When you arrive, just go to the room you rented. The door is unlocked. There are phone numbers and additional information in the room.
The place was tidy and well equipped including a bottled water dispenser. Be sure to bring your own soap for the shower.
Another review said the place was dirty and we disagree. It’s Arizona, so things get dusty fast. The central area of the property is shaded and the ground is covered in pea gravel. Between the leaves, gravel, and dust it’s difficult to keep the floor spotless.
The bedding was clean and soft. The mattress In #1 needs replaced soon, in my opinion. There are indentations on both sides making for some fitful sleep…but only if you’ve got back issues. My husband slept perfectly.
The hot tub was clean and well maintained.
Other than not receiving acknowledgment of our reservation with arrival instructions, we had a great stay and would return.

Cozy casita
We were in town for a 3 day visit with friends who have a vacation home in Patagonia. They had another couple visiting and not enough bedrooms so we booked La Paloma #1 casita for our stay. And we are so glad we did! It was great—quiet, clean, charming, and very comfortable.

We checked in on a Friday evening and checked out on Sunday morning. The property is well set up as a vacation rental and our dogs loved running around the >1 acre yard. I only have two complaints: no contact info was sent to us after booking on VRBO, so we had drive to the property without anyone to call and just hope for the best. Unfortunately, Google maps took us to the wrong house (I have since submitted a Google maps correction that should solve it) and we had nobody to call for directions. That was a little stressful. Thankfully the slightly peeved neighbors (apparently a lot of lost guests end up at their door) pointed me in the right direction, and we enjoyed the property once we found it. The Casita was well set up and nicely decorated, but I'm not sure the air conditioning was fully functional. It was a little warm and musty in there, but not so bad that we couldn't enjoy it. Overall the positives outweighed the negatives, though!

Amazing Stars and Adventures
Great location for gravel bike riding, star gazing and much more! Wonderful areas to seat and read. Enjoy cooking in the kitchen or grill out. Shower post ride and enjoy great seating areas to unwind from your adventure. Walk to coffee shop and check out the market. Amazing Gem!

Wonderful, clean, nice little studio. My wife loved it and it was real quiet in the area. We were unable to get the TV to work (Internet connection issues), maybe a little better attention to that issue and clearer instructions. Otherwise it was great!
