We enjoyed our weekend here. The location was awesome and I would imagine would be even more amazing in the summer.

We enjoyed our stay in South Haven. Loved the view of the boats and river - very peaceful at night. Short walk to the beach- less than 5 mins. Well stocked kitchen and lots of odds and ends in pantry! Appreciated the wagon and beach toys as well! Of note, master bedroom is on first floor on the other side of the house from the room with twins (upstairs). We had grandparents sleeping upstairs next to the kids room, but if you don’t and have younger kids a baby monitor may be needed to hear the kids upstairs from the master.

The house was very nice, clean, and looked like the photos. The one thing that would have made it nicer would have been nicer outdoor seating. There is a table and a few outdoor chairs but they were not very inviting. That’s the only reason I did not give the property five stars.

I will begin by saying the property owner was great to communicate with. I am only giving 3 stars as it was not very clean and we had a few young children who were crawling around on the floor and a lot of dust, etc was present. The style of property was also not what we prefer (see review below for more details) Pro's of property: As stated above - owner was very prompt with communication. Great location/short 10-minute walk to north beach Beds were comfy. A lot of bedroom's which allowed a lot of people to stay with us (including 2 friends who came to stay a couple days) Kitchen recently remodeled which is nice Beach toys/wagon included Master bedroom large Kids enjoyed walking down to river to see ducks/boats Neighbor very friendly Negative: both bathrooms in strange location (directly next to each other) air conditioner in master bedroom extremely noisy Cleanliness was very poor. Talked with owner about and he planned to discuss with cleaning team. Vacuum that was there was filthy and needed cleaned out in order to work correctly - again, owner very accommodating and planning to replace. There is not much of a "yard" with this property. We had 3 young kids ages 21 months to 4 years of age. They played in street which was nerve-racking since cars would come around. Wish there was a backyard or porch we could've congregated on. Washer/dryer in basement - very steep/narrow stairs to get down there which was somewhat challenging. No bathroom upstairs so those who sleep up there need to walk down stairs and through living room to get to restroom.
