Placeringen i bjergene var virkelig god. Man skal dog være obs på, at man er lidt langt fra Sa Pa.
Mama Gia og hendes familie er utrolig søde og imødekommende. De bød os varmt velkommen og var fleksible med at planlægge vandretur i området på vores præmisser.
Det regnede meget af tiden, så da vi ikke ønskede at tage på den planmæssige vandretur alligevel, bød Mama Gia os velkommen i hendes brors hus, hvor hele familien var samlet af onkler, kusiner, fætre, tanter, bedsteforældre og børn. Det var en fantastisk oplevelse at deltage og spise middag med den skønne familie.
Vi havde et mindeværdigt ophold ved Mama Gia, og vi håber på at vende tilbage en dag.
Vi boede i en lille hytte, som ikke var særlig godt isoleret, og da det regnede stort set den tid, vi var der, var der meget fugtigt i hytten. Alt vores tøj blev også fugtigt. Men for et par dage var det okay.
Badeværelserne var også lidt slidte - den ene dør kan fx ikke lukkes, men da der stort set ikke var andre gæster under vores ophold, var det som sådan ikke et problem.

Our stay at Gia Homestay was one of the most special experiences of our trip to Vietnam. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Gia and her family are incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, and they made our stay truly unforgettable.
We stayed in a beautiful, cozy bungalow with breathtaking views over the valley. Every morning we woke up surrounded by endless rice terraces, water buffaloes grazing nearby, and the peaceful atmosphere of village life. The homestay is far away from the tourist crowds, making it the perfect place to experience authentic local culture and nature.
We loved seeing the ducks and tiny ducklings around the property—it made the whole place feel even more charming and special.
We had breakfast and dinner there as well, Whig was so delicious! There is also a small restaurant/cafe close by for afternoon coffee with amazing views!
The children were incredibly friendly, polite, and sweet, and spending time with the family was one of the highlights of our stay!
We rented a scooter in Sapa and drove to the homestay ourselves, which took about 30 minutes. The road can be a bit challenging in some places, so we would recommend being a confident and experienced scooter rider if you plan to make the trip this way. The journey is absolutely worth it, though the scenery along the way is stunning.
When it was time to leave, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. Gia Homestay is a truly magical place, and we already know that we want to come back. Thank you for your kindness, hospitality, and for making us feel so welcome. We will never forget our time here.

Excursion d'une journée de scooter à travers les villages et rizières .
Vue magnifique de la terrasse du bungalow en bambou.
Très cher pour cette expérience plus touristique qu'humaine
6 heures de scooter sans arrêt sinon celui pour déjeuner dans un village touristique ,!!
Arrivée au homestay au milieu de nulle part repas délicieux mais obligatoire avec la famille sans être avertie. La facture finale beaucoup plus chère qu'annoncée au départ( repas du soir , scooter pour être ramené à Sapa au tarif aléatoire mais pas le choix car coincée sans possibilité de prendre un taxi.
prix très aléatoire à la tête du client !
Salle de bain et toilettes communes à la famille pas très propres
Expérience que je déconseille je pensais vivre un moment humain mais tout le monde était sur son portable et l'impression d'être un billet ambulant.
2400 000 vnd pour 2 pour Sapa !!!
