Located in North Rustico, this charming cottage for $262 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our beautiful home, Bayfront Haven, is right in the lovely seaside village of North Rustico on PEI’s North Shore. View spectacular sunset skies over the Bay from the large back deck of our charming one-and-a-half story vacation property. Our landscaped yard features 160 feet of waterfront. Peaceful and private, but with a birds-eye-view of the local action on and off the water, our home overlooks the bay, and offers ocean vistas from large picture windows in both the comfortable living room and dining area. There is also a bathroom with tub / shower combination on this level. The galley kitchen, small but well equipped, is adjacent to the dining area. You can gaze at beautiful views while you enjoy meals indoors. Head out to the deck overlooking the bay for a drink while the sunset signals the end of one day. Welcome the new day with coffee in the morning on the deck from the same comfortable spot. The deck, surrounded by well-established perennial beds full of irises and wild roses, extends our living space with comfortable handcrafted seating. Completing our outdoor amenities is a very private outdoor shower at the end of the house, just around the corner. We have three bedrooms. The upper level bedroom has a king sized bed with euro top mattress. On the main level there is a den with two small child sized built-in beds. The lower level of our summer home was completely renovated several years ago. At the bottom of the stairs is a separate laundry room and two bedrooms, each with queen sized bed. The second bathroom has a step-in tiled shower with built-in bench seat. Enjoy the nearby lighthouse rotating its enchanting beam in the sky above. Lobster boats and deep sea fishing charters full of locals and tourists navigate the bay as you look out from the deck. Watch herons stalk their prey in the shallows and eagles and ospreys flyoverhead. Rustico National Park Beach is right across the road, with its scenic bike path overlooking ocean cliffs. Paddle your Kayak right from the backyard or join village skippers for deep sea fishing voyages that you watched heading out to sea the day before. Stroll on the bayside boardwalk into our popular harbour village for groceries or lunch. Or you can follow the boardwalk to the harbour, with its colourful fishing shanties and award-winning restaurants. The popular Watermark Theatre is just around the corner. Centrally located within 30 minutes of Charlottetown and Summerside, with four golf courses nearby, our vacation beach house is the perfect place for your PEI vacation.

The house has a good location, is clean, nice yard and outdoor deck. That's about it for the good. The upstairs bedroom doesn't have a bathroom. The nearest bath is located off the kitchen. The bath is very small and outdated. There is another bath and 2 bedrooms located in the basement. The furnishings are old and mismatched. The outdoor deck has a nice view but the outdoor furniture is not comfortable and needs a coat of paint. Kitchen appliances are old. TV in upstairs bedroom is not connected to cable so no reception.

I stayed here with my best friend and her family. It couldn’t have been a better location for everyone to find something enjoyable. There was ice cream, book stores, restaurants, a bakery, fishing charters, the National Seashore all within walking distance. The driveway is large enough to fit four cars if needed. It was entertaining to watch the birds, boats, and dock activity from the back deck. The hot water was plentiful and the water pressure in each shower was very nice. There is a full size washer and dryer, helpful for my friend who’s son did hockey camp in Charlottetown. Anne of Green Gables is less than 15min away. There was some tweaking with the AC and fans, but luckily for us the weather was comfortable. I personally put up some shade in the back yard while we stayed there, and it made the back yard a great place to stay all day long in the hot August sun. There is also a grocery store right up the street, and we made some nice home cooked meals. The wifi was great for one of us to work comfortably for the week.. can’t recommend this home enough. (Except that maybe I wouldn’t want it impossible to book again.)

Loved Bayfront Haven. First, Dean let us check in early so we could get changed and situated before heading off to an incredible meal/experience with Chef Michael Smith at the Inn at Bay Fortune (highly recommend it if you're a first-timer to PEI; just make your reservations well in advance), over an hour away. Grateful for that. With Rustico Bay on one side and the beach behind and across the street, it is a beautiful spot. Not to mention that there is an excellent restaurant next door and the village amenities are within walking distance. Bayfront Haven itself is modest, but clean and comfortable. We would definitely book again.

This was a fantastic location for a group of women who wanted to do a lot of hiking in the National Park and eat lots of seafood! ( it is right next door to two excellent restaurants and 10 minutes from the Glasgow Lobster supper). Has a grocery store a walk away. Great view from the porch. Well equipped-comfortable beds, very clean. However- given the price -a few simple and inexpensive things would really make this place shine. There were lightbulbs missing in most of the hall lights ( dark coming in at night) and one bedroom lamp. There was a knob missing on the large burner of the stove. A bit of paint on the chairs, repair the screen at the entrance and another page of instructions in the binder re how to turn on the heat ( it was cool when we went)- would be helpful. It was not obvious that the air conditioner was also the heat! The properly manager was helpful when we did reach him. We woudl actually have given this 3.5/5-4/5 with a few minor fixes

Wow! What a location! Private patio overlooking the water and stone’s throw from fantastic restaurant and the boardwalk. The cottage was quaint and clean with all the amenities we needed. The ONLY challenge was the listing wasn’t completely clear about locations of bedrooms and bathrooms on each level. Having our dad with us, who requires a walker, meant that he could only sleep and use bathroom on the main level of the house, and that bathroom had a tub/shower combo with no grab bar for him to shower (and he couldn’t step into the tub). The basement level had 2 bedrooms and a bath with beautiful walk-in shower. Unfortunately he could not go down the stairs. Overall a fantastic stay! Highly recommend!

This was an amazing property for our famy vacation. It was wonderful to be able to get up each morning and walk on a beach, have coffee on the deck and watch fishing boats and sea birds. The village was a 15 minute walk away for groceries, an amazing bakery and there were SO many restaurants nearby to walk to. We all loved it.

If you are ok with mediocre cleanliness than this property could be for you. I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the place as best I could before we could stay. Contacted the owner and he responded the end of the next day that he could move us to another location but by then I had already cleaned the place and we stayed. The place is very run down and old which could be rustic if cleaned up. It does have beautiful views of the ocean and is a great location for tourists. Amazing local eatery on the dock was one of the highlights of our trip. Overall, it wouldn’t be a bad place if cleaned properly prior to clients arrival.
