The View Condominiums boast a prime slopeside location at the close to Snowbird Resort with unmatched views of the ski slopes and scenic Little Cottonwood Canyon. Nestled close to the Snowbird ski lifts, these ski-in/ski-out condos offer guests the best access to the slopes of Snowbird, a free shuttle ride and ski in access from Alta for advanced skiers, and a luxury retreat for an Alta-Snowbird vacation. The View #2 is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom slopeside condo that will impress even the most distinguished skiers and snowboarders! Floor to ceiling windows and walls of mirrors reflect the majestic mountain peaks throughout the great room, complete with a gorgeous circular sofa, fireplace, flat screen TV, and dining table for 4. The kitchen is open to the living area and well-equipped with modern appliances and extra seating at the bar counter to keep the chef company. Whether you're traveling to Alta with family or planning a Snowbird snowboarding adventure with friends, The View #2 offers a Snowbird slopeside experience like no other. This ski-in/ski-out Snowbird condo comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in two spacious ensuite bedrooms with high thread count linens, flat screen TV's and DVD players, and modern private bathrooms. The View #2 offers vacation essentials including fast fiber optic internet and an in-unit washer and dryer for guest convenience. The View #2 Accommodation: 2 Bedrooms – 3 Bathrooms Bedroom #1 – King Bed (or two twins) Bedroom #2 – King Bed (or two twins) plus two Sofabeds. Maximum Occupancy: 6 Ski Area Information WINTER: Ski in Ski Out to Snowbird (conditions permitting). Alta is a short shuttle away. SUMMER: Easy access to hiking and biking. ALTA SHUTTLE: Alta Resort Shuttle runs mid-December to early April. Call our office for specific dates. PARKING: There is outdoor, uncovered parking for one vehicle per rental unit. Oversize vehicles must be parked off-site. NEARBY PROPERTIES: Palace de Pow, Village at Sugarplum #6 or Superior Point #2F. The View Condominiums are ski in/ski out to Snowbird - arguably the best ski in/ski out there is to Snowbird. You don't need to be an expert skier but, you do need to be an intermediate skier to be able to take advantage of this access. So, how do you ski to Snowbird? The View is located at the very end of Blackjack Road. The trail to Snowbird starts at the end of this road and is called the Condo Bypass on the Snowbird trail map. The Condo Bypass is a short run that joins up with the bottom of Whodunnit. From there it is a short distance to Peruvian Express, The Snowbird Center and Tram or you can make your way over to the Wilbere Lift or the Gad Valley (Gadzoom and Midgad Lifts). So...basically, you walk out the door to The View, take a right and put on your skis. To ski back to The View you can take either the Peruvian Express or Tram and then follow the signs for the "Fun Run" or Chips – this is marked with blue trail markers. Follow this down to Whodunnit – this will initially be a cat track. You want to stay on the cat track when Whodunnit turns downhill and you will be back at your starting point. And how do you get to Alta? The Alta Resort Shuttle has a pick up spot right outside the door to the View Condominiums. This shuttle makes a continuous loop of the Bypass Road during daytime hours. The shuttle runs continuously during the day. It will typically take just a few minutes to get up to the Collins or Sunnyside base areas at Alta. After skiing, you can utilize this same shuttle to bring you back to the property or you can ski home from Alta via an off-piste advanced run. The Alta Resort Shuttle runs between mid December to early April only. Special Notes: As with any of the runs at Alta and Snowbird, access is based on the current conditions. When looking at a Snowbird trail map, Whodunnit is in the lower left corner.

1) the people at Alta Chalet's (Lauralee, Josh, and Michael) are spectacular. They were quick to respond before and during trip, knew all the answers to our questions, and were SUPER resource for information. They shared every way to get passes and discussed the options that were best for our group - even the options that didn't include them! 2) Our place was as advertised and in a great location. I'll be using Alta Chalets for all trips in the future. They were honest, reliable, and responsive!

We spent a week in the apartment while skiing at Alta. Overall a very clean, well kept and functional apartment. We we warmly recommend it for anyone who wants to ski in area.

Check in and communication with Alta Chalets was super easy. As our flight was arriving late into SLC, we were able to work with a grocery delivery service that came recommended by Alta Chalets. Everything worked out well! The condo is in an ideal location between Alta and Snowbird with an easy drive to Salt Lake City. Of course, the best part of the rental was the view!

Beautiful

The view was fantastic. The skiing superb. But what surprised us was how clean the condo was upon check in. We've stayed in many condos over the years and throughout the world (some much pricier) and it was one of the top 3 we have ever stayed in regarding cleanliness. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to prepare unique meals for 6 nights. Thank you for sharing the wonderful place.

The location of the condo is fab, with amazing view and right on the shuttle line to the slopes. The size and layout was perfect for our family of 4; the beds were comfy; the unit was very quiet; everything was in good working order. Did I mention the gorgeous view???

Had a very pleasant stay at View 2. Only issue were the louvre blinds in the second bedroom. They should be removed and replaced with new technology. Otherwise, everything worked well. Thanks. Jim

Beautiful and cozy place with the BEST views and great location to walk down to snowbird. Only odd thing is we stayed here during The hottest summer time and the unit doesn’t have AC because most of the day the breeze keeps it cool, but there are a couple hours it got mildly hot mid day. Any other time except 90+ weather shouldn’t be a problem.

A large and very comfortable condo unit with amazing views. The deco is getting a bit dated but appliances are modern and in good working order. Kitchen is clean, well equipped and stocked. Alta Chalets staff are helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.
