Staff is very helpful! Room is cleaned daily and the bed is comfortable. The rooftop is a vibrant place to meet like minded travellers.
Geyser in my room was not working properly but the staff tried to get it fixed.
The cafetaria can have more options.

The bathroom and the water from the tap have a slight smell. It can be ignored. But if it is fixed then it is a 10/10 stay option 💯

The view from the hostel is worth a consideration. Even the staff of the cafeteria is very warm and always helpful. It's nice that many locals hangout in the cafe.
The place is very badly maintained! There is no generator for power backup in an area which has so many power cuts. The internet was cut off for over 2 days and no response from the staff regarding it. There are seating areas in the cafeteria that stink of pigeon poop. There is zero sense for security with so many non-dwellers visiting the place. In fact, they all party till late in the night and don't respect the need for silence after night hours. Plus, small things like the bed side lights are not working and nobody checks on these things. I think there is a strong disparity between management i.e. zostel and the owners of the property. Somebody needs to take more charge in this place and care for the users responsibly. We are paying a lot of money for a hostel, and these kinds of difficulties are not appreciated.
