Without a doubt, the highlight is the incredible manager and staff. You feel like you are being welcomed home, each and every time you enter. From clean, well maintained rooms, to delicious meals and wonderful advice (even down to arranging a therapist appointment for my back issues which was fantastic), this IS the place to stay in Bodhgaya.

The proprietor of the Rajhat Maranao Hotel, Mr Sama Hassa is very friendly and spiritual. He helped us in every thing we asked ☺️🙏

The guest was very welcoming, helping us to organizar our staying in Bodh Gaya.
We had breakfast and lunch as well, super good!
It looked like being at home.

Nice staff, big bed, good AC, chai service, cheap price
Not a bad hotel… but there is NO PLANET on which this place is a 9.1 rating. How low must your standards be ?!
The room was tiny - forget any table or surface, I had to move the chair under the sink just so I could have a place to exist that’s not on the bed- Forget light blocking curtains, forget a refrigerator, forget a blanket (just given a sheet that was actually just an empty duvet cover!).
Still not a bad value for the money - but gauge the quality by the price, not by the rating: a 9.1 is no where close to reality.
