Nice cabins

The distance to everything and the space.
The upstairs was having a very hard time staying getting cool so it stayed very warm.

I know this is a bad situation. We really enjoyed till we got home from silver dollar city we were very hot from the steaming day. Unfortunately the air conditioner went down. 85 degrees inside. very miserable. the receptionist was by herself. She really tried hard to help. The maintenance man tried to fix. it was beyond his knowledge. She tried to get electrician, he said he would come over but he didn’t know what time. later we get notified that it would be tuesday for part to get there. She tries to still find us another cabin. About 11:00 pm we are notified she found one but at hollister instead of branson. We had to pack and drive to new cabin .it was so dark in the woods. Never been there before. GPS TOOK US TO A ROAD DIRT AND ROCK. Said do not enter. The party with us found the right place and tried to help us get where we were supposed to go. Then was so dark we couldn’t see numbers. Drove all around everybody getting over tired and crabby. We planned this trip for 2 months or so. My granddaughter was diagnosed with type - diabetes in which she was 4 when diagnosed. I promised this trip to her. We had to leave the second morning and didn’t get to enjoy as much as we spent most of the time waiting for cabin change. I feel we should be reimbursed 1 nite.

We were disappointed with the cabin location. It was located down a a hill behind the other cabins. We are 75 years old and taking our belongings down the trail and back up the trail was difficult for us.
There were no ice trays in the freezer. And the ledge above the kitchen cabinets was VERY thick with dust. It was obvious it is not one of the areas to be cleaned by housekeeping.
