This house was so big. Plenty of room for five couples. The pool was nice and warm. The homeowner responded quickly to any questions we had. A great home, and a fun town. We had a beautiful weekend.

We were super happy with the property! Everyone had their own bedroom area which allowed respite for our big group! The pool was perfect for our kiddos, and the kitchen was well appointed for making family meals. The location is basically perfect - a less than 5 minute drive to everything you'd want to see.

My group consisted of ten adults and this was our 5th annual South Haven Summer Trip. We stayed 3 nights Thursday - Sunday. Compared to the two other properties our group has historically rented in the area and enjoyed, Bob's property takes the cake by a mile. The property has so much to offer (e.g. 5 full bathrooms, heated pool, lounge pool chairs, large outdoor umbrellas, ping pong, tetherball, grill, bon fire pit). The location is a bit further of a walk (22 min to Captain Lou's :D), BUT it's well worth it with all the other great amenities / value adds of the property. The only item(s) our group wish would be improved for the future would be adding bar / cocktail making supplies to the kitchen. Bob was super easy to communicate with prior to our stay. We had zero issues during our stay and so we had no need to reach out to Bob for additional assistance.

It's been a few days since we returned from South Haven but we are still glowing from our week-long stay. In total, we were a party of 11 -- 3 families, 6 adults, 2 tweens and 3 teenagers. My family, my sister's family and my cousin's family loved this house and location for our summer vacation. For the adults, we had PLENTY of space to hang out with and without the kids. Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom, with the kids having their own space for a "sleepover" experience. The grown-ups had no trouble cooking, grilling and hanging out. The tweens and teens had a BLAST and a lot of freedom. They played ping pong, swam in the pool, watched movies and used the WiFi for gaming. All of us enjoyed the pool (awesome that it is heated!) and fire pit, outdoor seating for meals, being together in the common spaces, sleeping well in our beds and never feeling too crowded in the house. We also enjoyed the location, in that it was walkable to the beach/town but far away from too much action. It was nice to have a car if we didn't feel like a long walk. We enjoyed a late evening stroll to watch the sunset. We drove to North Beach with all our gear for a beach day (although the water was freezing). We had fun shopping at the cute stores and boutiques on Phoenix St. We also highly enjoyed the first few days of the Blueberry Festival! There was something for everyone! Bob was GREAT to work with and we had easy communication before and during our stay. Thanks for a great stay!

The house is large and comfortable! It’s well furnished and clean. The pool and outside space is beautiful. It’s an easy 20 minute+ walk to town. It’d be perfect if just a bit closer.

The house is a large, well-maintained property with a terrific, heated pool and a full-stocked kitchen. Our extended family enjoyed our week-long stay. The location is a short drive to the beach and downtown, but not quite as close as we anticipated. Overall, a terrific Lake Michigan rental.

My family of nine enjoyed a week of very comfortable and luxurious living. Upon our arrival, the home was immaculate. The common areas are roomy and well furnished. There is a lovely master suite on the first floor, and four additional bedrooms and baths. There is plenty of space for both togetherness and privacy. The kitchen has modern appliances, and all the necessary cooking, dining, and cleaning needs. The outdoor space is fabulous with a dining table and umbrella to enjoy al fresco meals. Beyond this dining area is a magnificent fenced-in pool, complete with adjustable lounge chairs, and an umbrella for those who prefer a bit of shade. Outside of the fence is a lovely fire pit surrounded with chairs. This house is a dream! We loved our family week, and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our large family vacation. Very clean and the host was extremely accommodating. The heated pool was a wonderful amenity to have, especially with kids. It was in a great location that made beach and downtown access easy. Would highly recommend!

Five couples get together one weekend a year since 1978. MSU Vets have missed only about 4 years during this time, and this place was perfect. Five couples all with plenty of space and privacy, yet great amenities and areas to gather. Was perfect for a group get together.

Very nice property. Honestly, one of the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve stayed in. I love that there are multiple rooms with their own bathrooms, as it’s perfect for multiple families with kids (went with my in laws). The foam mattress was comfortable for me. The heated pool is awesome. The only constructive feedback is our upstairs room had no shade on the bathroom window. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was great! Spent a long weekend at this property with several other couples. Plenty of space to gather and spacious enough to have privacy when needed. Multiple seating areas, well maintained, clean… I could go on. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality pots, pans and dishes. The furniture and decor was also good, not just thrown together. Someone set this place up as if they would live in it themselves. Check-in and out was simple. Keeping it in my favorites for future visits.

We have stayed at this property 2 years in a row now. We just love it. It's perfectly sized to accommodate our party of 11. We love that each room has it's own corresponding bathroom. The house is always clean. The pool is great. And Bob is really friendly and always accessible if you need anything.

This home was very spacious, clean and updated with all you need for comfort for a long weekend or even a week! Close to the downtown area made it easy to go back and forth, grocery stores close and beaches too! Pool made it nice to relax before a night on the town!! Will stay again next time in South Haven. Bob was a pleasure to work with! All the guests enjoyed it and we give it 5 stars!!

Our family had a fabulous time at the Bailey House in South Haven! The 5 bedrooms/bathrooms provided adequate space and privacy for our 13 family members (grown children and grandchildren). The pool was the favorite part of the weekend! It was very clean and the water was warm!! We rented a golf cart as it was a short ride into town for restaurants, shopping and the beach! The grandchildren loved the beach as well! The owner was professional and accessible! We highly recommend this home and will plan to stay here again!

Had a larger extended family vacation and this was a great house for that group. Each bedroom has its own full bath and the pool was amazing. It’s a good location about 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the Phoenix St shops and restaurants. We hope to come back soon.
