This is a beautiful resort!! The gardens and rice fields around the resort are lovely, and the location is very quiet. Very good for taking a walk around the village and admire the views or seeing local life. Our room was so beautiful, clean, well designed and spacious. Better than the photos! The staff were helpful. They offer tours around pu luong- our guid was super nice and took us to some amazing places. Even though he didn't speak any english we managed very good with google translate. The included breakfast was very nice.
The location is not very close to ban don, the main village with the beautiful views. For us it wasn't a problem!!
Unfortunately The food in the restaurant was not good... everything we ordered didn't taste very good. So it was a shame, because there are not many other options around.

This might be my 9-10th times visiting Pu luong and I always stay at Jungle Lodge because of how comfortable it is here. I enjoy the quiteness and how close to nature when I am here. Waking up with the rice fields right at the door step, take a dip in the pool, enjoying coffee/tea in the traditional stilt house... is the routine.
The place is clean. I like that new bath towel, swim towel and bath rope is provided everyday (I know, many types of towel). The bed is big and comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The homemade yogurt and jams were particularly delicious. The restaurant used fresh ingredients, and every dish was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal (highly recommend the crispy fried stream fish, duck stewed with sour dracontomelon, stir-fried wild bamboo shoots, grilled chicken/local pork)
Nothing. I would give 11 points if there are more flowers instead of plants lol

Rooms and grounds are nice. Information about local tours is useful but not completely accurate. When I asked about the difficulty of a hike was considering, I was told it was easy with a hand gesture for flat. It was not. And it was long so that mattered.
The service. I’d gotten the impression from online communication that they were on top of things—helpful and organized. But when we arrived we were told that the staff were taking the next day off for a company thing so there would be no lunch or dinner service available. This is a place in the middle of nowhere with no nearby restaurants, not even a convenience store. Also both morning msg we were there, we were told breakfast at 7. But both days we had to wait roughly a half hour for any food. We had tours booked so that gave us very little time to eat breakfast.
