Charleston Lakeside Retreat is a boutique “resort” that was originally built as a church camp in the early 1900’s. It consists of 5 rental cabins, owner home, seasonal boat slips and a small boutique. Spread out over 2 acres on a peninsula, the property offers plenty of opportunity for a restful vacation. The cabins are situated in a "U" shape in groupings of two with a large shared lawn and spectacular lake views. We have docks on either side of the peninsula. One side offers incredible views with dockage for your own boat. The other side offers deep swimming and seasonal boat slips. Our guests enjoy shared use of kayaks, and SUPs (stand up paddle boards) during their stay. Fishermen are welcome to enjoy our fishing kayak. Boat/trailer parking is available for guests with their own boats pending availability. Please contact us prior to booking to confirm availability as dock space is limited. Linens are provided. Guests are asked to bring their own towels and to leave the cabin neat and tidy upon departure. If you are unable to bring your own towels, they are available for rent.
