Loved the fact it was right on the water with private access. The villa was large enough to accommodate our large party of 9 comfortably. Close to a grocery store.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Keep in mind it is an older property and needs some work, but is was still a beautiful property.

This was everything I thought it would be. Roomy... Slept 8 comfortable Definitely could have sleep 12. The View... is gorgeous! And you have access to a semi private beach. The water isn't too deep nor the tides to strong off the beach area so swimming in the ocean was nice. It is away from high traffic tourist areas.... This could be good or bad depending on your desires. Our family loved it. We relaxed several days and went downtown once and Paradise Island once. If you are adventuresome there is a bus line that you can take to and from downtown area but we used a van service from/to airport, to/from downtown area, and to/from Paradise area... it seemed expensive but it was still cheaper than renting a vehicle from the 6 days.. But it you plan, more excursions, you might want to think about renting a vehicle. The Supermarket (Super Value), liquor store, Sakura Sushi, Wendy's Marco's Pizza, The Poop Deck restaurant (longest of the walks) are within walking distance. The kitchen had sufficient pots and pans (several of larger size) to cook for 12.
My family had an amazing time. Any constructive criticism that I can say, did not distract from the experience.
Please remember this review is designed to be constructive for the rental company (I gave a 10)... Like, the middle /main burner did not ignite on the stove top. The 4 other burners worked perfect. The breaker on the kitchen would trip if we use the coffee pot and toaster at the same time. We simply brewed coffee first then made toast.
We did find a few bugs in kitchen cabinets. It's a beach property. We just hand washed things prior to use. The pool deck and wood deck towards the sea wall are uneven in spots and need of minor repairs.
If I could add 4 things that are definitely more of a wish list... a Crock Pot, a Gas Grill (there is a small charcoal grill), and small cart/wagon for hauling groceries, and a (things you might need to know) book that provides information/ to-go menus/ and excursion information.
A crock pot would be great for a family to put a meal in prior to leaving for the day's excursion and come back home to a crock pot meal. A gas grill, again is more a convenience. After an excursion, and wanted to cook when tired, gas is simply quicker and easier. The small cart/wagon would be nice. Hauling bottled water, ice, sodas, etc from the grocery store is heavy. Having a cart/wagon in the garage would be an added convenience. I do understand people might use to take to beach but a groceries only wagon would be amazing. Last, several of my vacations using VRBO, AirBnb and Booking have a things you need to know book.

We had a 2 night stopover before a flight and the house served our purposes. Great location, right on the beach and walkable to restaurants, supermarkets and bigger beaches. Cornelia was a responsive host, allowed us to leave our bags at the house on early check in and even brought some milk over from her own house when we were caught out by all the supermarkets being closed on Boxing Day!
The house itself is adequate but as other have said, does need some maintenance work. There was a cracked patio door, the deck is worn and fixtures have seen better days. It didn't detract from our stay, but I can see how others have been disappointed if this was their main vacation property. The housekeeoer had done a reasonable job before we arrived but could have been cleaner.

The location was perfect . Cornelia our host was always on hand and very helpful in all aspects. As you see from my below comments some aspects of the villa we thought were lacking, however this is subject to personal expectations and levels of comfort , one is used to experiencing.
The property was tired, and really required attention. Many of the floor tiles and decking planks had exposed screw heads and broken tiles, small things, but one of our children cut one of their toes. The beds and pillows required replacing for new, and not all the time of our stay ,some cockroaches, paid us a visit. We also had a flood from one of the upstairs toilets which came through the ceiling. The pool was only cleaned once in our two week stay and as such the water discoloured , perhaps the filtration system was failing.
