Come relax in our mountain residence on high mesa grasslands in the heart of the Rockies. This stunning luxury home sits on 35 acres with expansive views of the Elk Mountain range. The natural materials used to build this home speak to the clean living that abounds here in the Roaring Fork Valley. With red oak flooring, trusses and beams crafted from the wood of a Midwest barn, the open-plan is designed to maximize the warmth of the south-facing windows: part solar, part geothermal-heated, a home built for the future. With two master suites, each complete with walk-in closets and private decks looking out on ranchland pastures framed by Mount Sopris, the property boasts 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, two living rooms, a workout space for stretching, double steam shower, and seven fireplaces, including three imported English Rumford stone hearths - perfect for year-round relaxation. Fifteen minutes to Whole Foods, 45 minutes to the slopes, with gorgeous spaces to enjoy right on the property. Every detail of the home is tuned to the play of light on the 8,278 square feet of architecture, a celebration of timber, iron, stone, clay, and open space. At the heart of the property is an infinity party pool with waterfall, adding warm waters to the ever-present elements of earth and sky. Please, however, no weddings, elopements, or any kinds of events at our home. These are prohibited.

Such a fun, unique house! Lots of room, perfect for being together…big table, open kitchen with bar stools and breakfast nook, yet plenty of places to steal away and read or write. Loved the big, well- equipped and well- stocked kitchen.

This property is beautiful, just like the pictures inside the house which is so spacious and lovely and the views are just breathtaking and ever changing. It's convenient to the surrounding restaurants and shopping and of course sightseeing. Views from the grocery store! Easy checkin and check out. Wonderful owners and manager. We have made such good memories this week and to top it off it started snowing on Christmas Day and continued on and off for days making everything more perfect.

I am so grateful the owners have decided to offer their beautiful property as a vacation rental. My partner and I decided to have a micro-wedding in CO with 7 of our closest friends and family. After viewing tons of properties online I found this gem and was fortunate enough to be able to snag it for a week in the early fall. The view alone is just stunning. We enjoyed walking around the many acres of land and stargazing at night from the pool or one of the patios. The home was impeccably clean with plenty of space for all of us to enjoy our own space or come together for dinner or games in the evening. I was greeted on check in day with a text from the owner as well as given a great home reference guide which was very helpful for navigating any questions we had. Communication was easy and quick with anything else we needed while we were there. We were only 15 minutes away from any supplies we needed from town but felt perfectly isolated on the mountain. We also enjoyed how fun Carbondale is and were able to enjoy their farmer's market, open streets first Friday, lots of little boutiques and enough restaurant choices for everyone to find something they liked. After hiking nearby trails we loved the steam shower and soaking tub in the master not to mention floating in the infinity style pool outside. The gourmet kitchen allowed us to cook a wedding dinner for all 9 of us with plenty of space to enjoy it around the large dining table. I couldn't imagine a better place to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in life and we're already talking about trying to get back next year.
