The house is located on a marvelous spot, with a great view and is close to everything you need for a pleasant holiday. It is spacious and has an authentic atmosphere. BUT... First: the deferred maintenance is beyond what you might call ‘charme Provençale’. The blinds have been flimsily repaired and need - like all the outside woodwork - serious painting. The bathtub is dingy and overall the house is ready for an update. At the front terrace there is no light (we had to buy extension cords to put a few lamps there). Tiles in the hallway are cracked and sometimes not very skillfully repaired. The walls are stripped from every decoration that could give the house a cosy and welcoming feel. Insect screens hanging loose in the windows because the tape (!) doesn’t stick anymore. I could go on for a while. Second: the inventory is hardly suitable to accommodate 8 let alone 9 people. The pans are too small, there is only one cutting board, nowhere outside is space enough to comfortably sit down with the whole party. There is one, ridiculously tiny parasol. There are far too few wallsockets, especially considering that nowadays everybody needs one beside his/her bed to charge the phone. Third: in the height of summer the house offers way too little protection from the sun and the heat. We improvised a sun screen in the backyard in order not to get toasted. Fourth: the garden is in a process of desertification. We managed to save a few plants from a sure death. All they needed was a little water and some attention, both of which the owners are apparently not willing to give them. Overall the house gives the impression that the last 5 or maybe even 10 years no major investments have taken place. And it shows. You get the idea that the owners just wait for the moment the house is too delapidated for rental. Then they sell it on the market and in the meantime they catch a couple of thousands euro’s from people who are stupid enough to book it. Like us.

Das Objekt ist ideal ausgestattet (u.a. auch Waschmaschine, Grill, Espressomaschine und Geschirrspülmaschine). Die Unterteilung in getrennten Erd-/Tief-geschoß und Hauptwohnung war für uns (6 Personen) ideal. Bis zu 7 Personen super, bei 8 Personen etwas beengt nutzbar. Es waren nur wenige 100m zum traumhaften Strand, toll. Die Badezimmer und Schlösser der Eingangstüren könnten ein update vertragen…. Beste Zeit zur Nutzung ist der Juni ! Im August könnte es heiß werden (keine Klimaanlage). Mückenspray nicht vergessen ! Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt !

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette villa. A 2 pas du port, du centre et de la plage. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et la personne qui nous accueille est très sympathique et disponible. Les couchages sont correctes. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans cette villa.

Wir waren in der ersten Woche mit 4, in der zweiten Woche mit 7 Personen in dem Haus. Im 1. Stock gibt es 2 große Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Doppelbetten und in einem davon zusätzlich einem Einzelbett. Außerdem Wohnzimmer, in dem auch eine Person schlafen könnte, Küche, Bad, Toilette und Abstellkammer. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, aber praktisch und funktional. Im Souterrain befinden sich 2 weitere, kleinere Schlafräume mit Klappsofa von 1,40 m Breite und ein Bad. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Garten, der rund um das Haus verläuft und zu jeder Tageszeit einen Schattenplatz bietet. Vom Wohzimmer aus gelangt man auf einen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, die Küche bietet direkten Zugang zu einem Sitzplatz auf der gegenüberliegenden Hausseite. Die Lage ist perfekt: ruhig, aber sehr nah an Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der Vermieter war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch mit der Hausverwaltung haben wir gute Erfahrung gemacht. Gegen einen Aufpreis verleiht die Hausverwaltung Bettwäsche und übernimmt die Endreinigung. Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub dank des schönen Hauses und des netten Vermieters sehr genossen und können uns gut vorstellen, wieder ein paar Wochen hier zu verbringen.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de passer 3 semaines dans cette charmante villa, en couple la moitié du séjour, puis avec un couple d'amis l'autre moitié. Age entre 30 et 40 ans. C'est une villa pittoresque et comfortable pour 4 adultes, offrant une très belle vue sur les restanques et la mer. Elle conviendra également parfaitement à une grande famille. Le centre ville et la plage du Centre à 5 minutes à pieds (6 minutes au retour, avec la pente) améliorent considérablement l'expérience et la liberté de chacun... Sans compter le fait que le 2 pièces en dessous, soit indépendant avec son entrée, aussi très pratique. La belle plage de Saint Clair est à 15 - 20 mn à pieds. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Le mobilier est neuf, ou en bon état. La maison en tant que telle, est jolie. Elle comprend des éléments vétustes (cf photos disponibles : pas de mauvaise surprise) pris en compte dans le tarif, si on compare au marché. Enfin, cela a été un grand plaisir d'échanger avec les propriétaires (moins avec l'agence locale, qui ne retourne pas les appels). Situés alors à distance, les propriétaires ont été très disponibles par courriel et mobile, et de très très bon conseil ! Donc un grand merci pour ce séjour de choix : nous repenserons fortement à vous à l'avenir, pour tout voyage dans la région !

Propriétaire très sympathique nous ayant renseigné sur les bonnes adresses et plages. La maison est parfaitement située, à 5 min à pieds des plages et du centre ville. Maison très spacieuse avec ses deux terrasses, et très bien équipée. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, et reviendrons avec grand plaisir une prochaine fois! Merci encore !
