Vacasa told us the address of the building but not the unit number. It took us several texts to get the unit number. Garage parking was hard to use. Nice and clean.

Unless they get a deep clean going on…. Pass on this unit! The couch is filthy and needs replaced, super uncomfortable and we had to put a blanket down it was so gross! There is a TV that has nothing but an antenna and very limited channels. There is garage sale at best, linen and kitchen ware. The kitchen sink barely ran water so we had get our water for coffee each morning out of the bathroom. I alerted to management to all these issues. So heres to them fixing all of these items before someone spends their hard earned money on a below par unit.

The property was filthy! Dirty floors, someone else's hair in the bathroom floor, dirty walls, broken box spring, stained towels, coffee maker not working, could not access parking garage or unit due to faulty door function upon arrival.

Very spacious and beautiful condo. Loved the washer and dryer yet!. The only thing we had a problem with was that the bed would go down on the left side making in uncomfortable for my spouse. Other than that, We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Our stay was great. The only problem we had was the lock on the door. It was not very user friendly at time. The space was great for a couples getaway. We will use the location again if available.

Really like working with VACASA. Very simple to check in The facade of this place is nice and it was very easy to be a guest. Nice kitchen and furniture with fun Nola decor. Overall clean. There were things that were dirty (walls, mattress, floors, some decorations left by another guest) unfortunately the pool was also murky for swimming but could have been due to the storms of the week. The saxony is a nice place to stay and good location for my needs.

The place was super easy to locate. I felt very safe and secure with the building being monitored and a covered parking garage. The directions were easy to follow to access the building. The place is very cozy and modern as listed.

Loved Bayou is a very nice condo in a new building in an older neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay but honestly did not spend much time in the unit or use the kitchen or other building amenities as there was so much to see and eat in New Orleans. We used New Orleans' "Blue Bikes" electric bikeshare service to get around, which was lots of fun (bring your bike helmet and give it a try). Due to the bikeshare's clunky app, we did not discover the bike dock on the side of the condo building (it's near the high school) until our last day, but found another bike dock not far away. We also used the RTA GoMobile App to get around by public bus. It's a 5-min. walk to the stop at Chartres & Alvar St., and then a 10-minute ride to the French Quarter, better than driving and trying to find parking in the French Quarter (we had flown in and didn't have a car with us anyway). Nice place to stay, very clean and quiet.

I loved everything about the home. Having two toilets in the home was definitely great with the variety of foods in the area. The location was great, not too far and not too close to the French Quarter. It was in a hipster part of town. We rode bikes everyday because parking can get expensive and we knew that going in. And every other restaurant asked us for Vaccine cards or PCR Test proof.

Even though the condo was new & streamlined, whoever cleaned this unit done a horrible job. Poop runs down the front of toilet, dirt & hair in freezer & silverware drawer, dirty utensils, greasy/dirty stove top. It took us along with a contracted security person who was high, 50 minutes to get in our room. The lobby reeked of pot, the security guy couldn't find us on the 3 guest lists even had us look at the lists, only to find our name scribbled on a post it note on the wall. We went on a scavenger hunt at 1am to find the coded lock box in between 1st & 2nd floor stairway that had 3 keys & a fob to the unit door with 3 locks (keypad, 2 deadbolts) plus the reg door knob none of which worked properly. The deadbolt just turned in circles & wouldn't unlocked. We tried all Vacasa #s listed & the text # about our upcoming trip but couldn't reach anyone for help. The next day we recieved an email apology for not updating us on the change of the keypad code. The next day after touring the French Quarters we return & again fought with the locks for 35 minutes til we were able to reach someone who was able to contact the on call maintenance person & they never showed up. The area you travel through is filled with dilapidated buildings with graffiti, gang tags & homemade defund the police signs, cop cars everywhere, shady looking people & you had to use caution driving as there were thug-like people stepping out in front of you. The Saxony reminds me of a pearl on a swine. Frustrated with the location, uncleanness & difficultly gaining entry; my husband insisted we find a safer area. Even the security person who was under the influence said we shouldn't take public transportation & to be inside before dark. We finally reached someone in Colorado who after reviewing the pictures agreed with us & refunded us half our money. I truthfully think we should have been refunded all of our money. I will try to attached photos including a crime map with a 2 miles radius of the condo.

It is a beautiful property, veryClean and modern.. the balcony was semi private located on the pool level but higher floored condos can look directly into unit as balcony door has no curtains or coverage. I will come back again.
