About this house rental
Situated in Jamaica Beach, this attractive house for $323 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This wonderful home is in the sought-after Jamaica Beach neighborhood which is the perfect place to find peace on the bay and beach. It is wonderful for family vacations. This recently renovated home is the perfect home away from home. The open living space is welcoming and cozy. The fresh new paint and updated bathrooms and floors are absolutely stunning. While at the property you can enjoy many wonderful features including a ride in the provided kayaks down the canals, a bike ride to the beach, or a nearby park/neighborhood pool. You will also enjoy relaxing on the deck on one of the lounge chairs while enjoying a cool beverage and taking in the beautiful water views. So many extras included. There is a beautiful outdoor shower that was recently installed and is perfect for rinsing off after the beach. We do not allow pets as owners have family allergies. Only vehicles max allowed. The driveway holds up to 4 vehicles. No parking is allowed on the street or in neighbors' driveways. No pet policy is due to the owner's severe allergies. You can fish right off the backyard dock and catch all kinds of fish. A cleaning station on the dock allows you to clean your fish right outside a few feet from where you are fishing! In the evenings, the underwater green fishing light offers a tranquil aquarium. The lovely home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rooms each have a queen-sized bed with a television. The upstairs bedroom also has twin bunk beds. This allows 8 people to sleep comfortably. Linens for the beds are provided, along with towels for the bathrooms. There is a full-size washer and dryer to use for your convenience. There is a television in the living room, with a cozy couch to unwind on after a long relaxing day. The kitchen has all you would ever need to make a delicious dinner. You can cook the fish or crabs you caught right out on the canal! We also have a crab trap available for setting up right off the dock. When you catch them, you can cook them with the big crab boiling pot up in the kitchen. We have a charcoal grill for outdoor grilling and a lovely patio table upstairs as well as a picnic table downstairs in the shade. There is a ladder on the dock so you can swim right in the canal if you fancy. Kayaks and bikes are available for your enjoyment. Jamaica Beach is the neighboring subdivision next to the State Park. The local police force, fire department and EMS gives you peace of mind, with the police around the clock patrolling of the area. Galveston is just down the road with all of its' famous attractions. Schlitterbahn has its' indoor water park open year-round. Moody Garden has an aquarium, IMAX theater, and other fun family attractions. There are museums scattered throughout the island including a flight museum. The Pleasure Pier amusement park is definitely a must and the many restaurants along the Sea Wall and on The Strand are fabulous choices. Come stay with us! You will be glad you did. Perfect in every way. Super clean, beautifully decorated, located right on the canal. We fished, caught and cooked crab, floated in the canal, kayaked and went bike riding. All the extras are what makes this place so special. Plenty of room for six people and fully stocked. Short 15 minute drive to heart of sea wall. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful time at Casa Rosa. Great spot and set up. Also, Kathy the property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. We would stay here again.

Our family was very impressed with this property to say the least. The house was amazingly clean, tidy, fully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want. The weather was not cooperating but we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with family at Casa La Rosa and the side trips to Galveston and the Houston Rodeo were icing on the cake. I would recommend anyone looking for a relaxing family friendly vacation to book this place immediately. Thank you Kathy for letting us borrow your lovely home. We will be back.

Kathy was very easy to work with, we arrived early and she let us check in early! The house was beautiful, she provided so much for kids to do, kayaks, fishing and boogie boards. We wish the weather was better but everyone loved just hanging out at the house. Would definitely recommend for a family, convenient to beach and Galveston proper. Will stay again next time we go!

Perfect place for our quick trip to Jamaica island! The house had everything we needed and more! We have 5 children, from newborn to 18 - they all had the best time! Fishing off the deck, bike rides to the park made the 2 days fly by! You can’t go wrong with this place!!

I would highly recommend this house. Very well equipped, so you need to pack minimal items. Close proximity to several tourists spots, but just far enough for a tranquil atmosphere.

This was a perfect place for our stay. We took 4 grandsons as a reward for tutoring all summer. They love to fish and the pictures and the reviews is why we chose this place! It was spot on. It was clean, and had everything we needed. The grandsons loved the crab cages, the canoes and fishing both off the top deck and the lower deck. We also loved having the bicycles and took bike rides when we could pull them away from fishing. Kathy our host was very accommodating and replied back quickly to any questions we had. She was wonderful and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back. Lots of great memories were made! Just don’t forget the mosquito spray!

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa Rosa! The house is worth all the amenities alone! From bikes to kayaks to boogie boards, bate boxes, crab traps and so much more! This house has all the comforts of home without having to lug everything with you or buy it down there! Close to restaurants, convenience stores, and more! Would certainly rent again!

House was wonderful! Everything we needed was there for us. Super clean and very comfortable beds and pillows! There was actually plenty of lighter Fluid in the storage for the charcoal grill. It was probably leftover from previous guests so it may not be necessary to but it before checking. The only negative was how cold the upstairs bedroom got compared to the downstairs bedroom. If you like to sleep cold like we do, the upstairs adult bedroom gets much colder than the downstairs one. Other than that it was such a great house!

The house was beautiful and clean. Our family really enjoyed the downstairs area. There were plenty of little extras that made beach trips more fun. The neighborhood was quiet which was nice. Also it was very close to beach access . Great house will use Why Waite Vacations again!

Check in was easy. House was as listed. Nice being on a canal where kids could fish and swim. Enjoyed the kayaks and crab traps. Only cons were owner’s boat was in lift that kinda of blocked views but did provide a little more shade for the afternoon in the lower deck area, the other con was a house across the canal was having a weekend teenage birthday party that got a little rowdy.

Great home for mini vacation
House had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was clean and bright. I would just recommend that the bed frame in one of the guest bedrooms is fixed so that it doesn’t squeak every time you move. It was loud enough that it was hard to sleep. Other than that everything else was excellent.

We love to grab a VRBO beach house and stay for about a week every summer...this house was one of our FAV. Very clean and love the location around the canal - easy get-in and get-out with no canal traffic. Property Mgr was extremely helpful and you can tell the owners LOVE their property. So comfortable. Great location. House and property were well kept! Mostly just slept there as we were there for the rally, so didn’t check out the kayaks, crab traps, or bicycles. Will try to stay here again.
