About this house rental

Situated in Minneapolis, this attractive house for $9,999 per night is a great option for your next break. Recently remodeled one-bed, one-bath unit in side-by-side duplex. Open kitchen with breakfast bar, flowing into a cozy living room. Located two blocks from the light rail Metro Transit taking you quickly to the airport or downtown. Twelve minute drive to the Mall of America. One block from Minnehaha Regional Park and scenic Minnehaha Falls. Full kitchen with gas range, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Central air and forced-air AC, free Wi-Fi, backyard with off-street parking spot and unfinished basement with washer and dryer. All blinds are blackout, blocking the majority of light so you can sleep comfortably. Dog friendly, but do not book if you have a dog that you think will have trouble in the unit, such as one that constantly barks. No dogs on beds and the backyard is shared. $65 for one dog and $65 more a second dog. You can let yourself in upon arrival with the keypad on the deadbolt. If you have a car, there's a private parking spot in the back otherwise there is parking on the main street in front of the duplex. Fun activities include hiking/running trails at Minnehaha Park, a well-known seafood eatery and bar called Sea Salt, Long Fellow Gardens and an active dog park. The rental is two blocks from Metro Transit light rail stop, with quick access to MSP Airport, downtown, US Bank Stadium, Target Field and more. Ten minute Uber/Lyft from airport. Walking distance from a liquor store, gas station, Walgreens, Venn brewery and three-minute drive to Highland Village Center with many quaint bars and restaurants. Lakes Nokomis and Hiawatha are nearby where you can enjoy the beach, paths around the lakes and rent canoes/kayaks/stand up paddle boards at Wheel Fun Rentals.

This duplex unit was perfect for us. Everything was sparkling clean and worked well, the furniture and bed were comfortable, and the new kitchen had all the essential cookware. Great location with groceries and Minnehaha Park a short walk away. And a back yard! We would love to stay here again on our next trip to the Twin Cities.

Great neighborhood with nearby park, Minnehaha Falls, grocery, and restaurants all within walking distance. The unit was clean and very comfortable. This was our second time in this unit, and we would stay here again.

This is a lovely, well-kept, clean little home as part of a side-by-side duplex. There were 3 of us: myself and my husband, and my 25 yo son with his dog. My son slept on the couch... not great as it was advertised as "sleeps 3," so we assumed the couch would convert. Sadly, it wasn't a pull-out, but we made do. (This is the sole reason for the 4 stars as opposed to 5.) The dog was happy! There is a well-kept fenced in yard, but be aware it is shared with the neighboring guests in the duplex (our neighbors had 2 dogs of their own, so we had to be courteous and aware). A nice, safe neighborhood for dog walks, and the Minnehaha Park is just a couple of blocks away. Long walks there were great! The place is small... clearly intended for a couple, but we were just fine and even had 2 guests on Christmas morning to open presents! The communication with Andrew was GREAT! He was attentive and exceedingly prompt when we had an issue. (The previous guests had apparently dropped a shot glass down the disposal, which rendered the sink pretty unusable. As it was Christmas, we told Andrew it was silly to pay a plumber... my husband and I worked to make the sink a bit usuable by removing a chunk of the broken shot glass, and improvised with paper plates/utensils. 😊) We'd definitely stay again!

This space is so nice, clean and totally upgraded, we could walk to brewery, grocery store, the Falls - close to airport ...but yet quiet and safe - was a perfect spot very impressed would stay again!

Our second stay at this cute house went great. The location is central, our dog enjoyed the fenced yard and walks in the neighborhood, and the house was sparkling clean. The little touches (dog treats, chocolate, etc.) were much appreciated.

Loved it! Will be back again. Andrew, the host was easy to reach. Love the location. House is comfortable and bed was great. Nice to have a yard space for our puppy and appreciated the off street parking.

Loved everything about the location / the house is cute and perfect size for 1-2 people. It's an older place that has been remodeled very cute. The only thing that was not a 5 star was the smell of dog. Understanding considering dogs are allowed.

We loved the proximity to our daughter's new college, Minnehaha Falls Park, good espresso and bike paths. The owner allowed us to keep our bikes safely stored in the basement when we weren't using them. We slept comfortably. We were able to do laundry before leaving for the rest of our journey.

This was our second stay, and we plan to return on our next visit. It was just what we needed to visit our family. It is clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance to Minnehaha Falls, and Longfellow Gardens and neighborhood Restaurants. The light rail is easily within walking distance to see the many sites in downtown Minneapolis. We highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again!

We stayed 10 days. Easy Walk to really good restaurants, grocery, public transit, movie theater, and access to many bike trails. Quick drive to both downtown Mpls and St Paul. The property was as described. Bed was comfy soft, a/c worked great, sheets/towels had been laundered with non-scented detergent. No perfume air fresheners. WiFi was fast enough for remote work. Neighborhood was quiet, proximity to airport is easy yet very little airplane noise. We hope to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The parking in the back of the home was very convenient. It was really nice to be able to walk to the grocery store, to our friends home, and Minnehaha park. This is a place we want to return to on our next trip to Minneapolis.

Overall happy with my experience. The house is in a old neighborhood and the house itself is older. New appliances help the house keep up with the times. Bed was soft and comfortable. House is in a good location within walking distance of groceries and parks. Did hit traffic when driving into Minneapolis but this is due to summer traffic. Would recommend staying there.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a few days in Minneapolis and loved our stay at Andrew’s property. The cleanliness was top of the line. The attention to detail of a new tissue box and liquid soap in the bathroom are the little details that are much appreciated! Would most definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 8 days while floors were refinished at our home across the river. Everything was as described and our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. I will recommend this to friends or family who come to town to visit.

My husband and I take the week after Christmas to relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate before going into the new year. This place fit the bill beautifully! We loved that Minnehaha Falls was just a short walk away, as was Cub Foods, restaurants, and a short drive from some amazing old and modern architecture. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

The duplex is clean and comfortable and very conveniently located. It is walking distance to a Cub Foods, Minnehaha Falls and dog park. Bike/walking trails are close by and link to nearby lakes. In the neighborhood there is a great pizzeria and a new Japanese restaurant both within a few blocks. This was our second stay and we plan to visit again as it is also conveniently located to our youngest grandsons. PG

The property included all needs for living there for 5 weeks. Cooking and having our dog with us was a joy! Improvements I suggest: Change furnace filters and clean air ducts. much black dirt in registers Get a mattress cover...the mattress was stained and it was rather disgusting when I changed the sheets Close to many things and liked the neighborhood

We had a short stay at this property but it was a convenient location. Minnehaha is a busy street so there is some traffic noise. It is very close to the Minnehaha Parkway which we would have loved to have explored if we had the time. It was great to have a fenced in backyard for our pups. Having off street parking was also great! The property was very clean.

We stayed for a little mini honeymoon over the 4th weekend. Great location, loved having the Cub and liquor store within walking distance, plus the fun Official chicken on the corner made for an impromptu picnic in the backyard on a gorgeous weekend. The Howe for brunch was delicious and fun as well. We will be telling all our friends.
