Wir waren zum 3 . Mal da und sind trotz kleiner Mängel immer wieder gerne hier. Perfekt mit Hund im oberen Apartment. Die neue Küchenzeile ist sehr schön gestaltet. Und die Lage ist gerade abends beim Wein 🍷 sehr atmosphärisch .

The location was very good and the apartment had a lovely old-world charm

I had emailed questions prior to booking about accessibility to the apartment by car, explaining that I was travelling with an elderly mobility-impaired mother (who cannot climb stairs and uses a walking frame, and cannot walk far) and was told that there was free parking very close by. This was simply not the case. We were attending a family Wedding with events across three days, which entailed a prolonged and painful journey assisting my mother up and down streets and steps in the heat to get back to where the car was parked each time we had to leave the apartment. All fine for a healthy fit 60 year old like me, but not for anyone who is even slightly disabled. More detail and transparency re the difficulty of parking would have meant we definitely would not have booked this apartment, as it made the important occasion of my mothers attendance at her granddughters wedding a tiring and painful experience. The second issue was the worst provision of basic items I've ever encountered in years of travel in many countries. There was not a single piece of cutlery to be found in the ground floor apartment (several of us did a thorough search throughout the entire place). This was truly bizzare. Luckily my husband and son were sharing the upstairs apartment, and it was only after a thorough search there that they found cutlery they could bring down. If the apartment is rented separately, then there would be no possibility of eating cereal or slicing bread for breakfast. There were precisely two thin and extremely small (slightly larger than hand-towel size) towels provided in the apartment and no bath mat, so assisting my mother in and out of the shower on a slippery wet floor was dangerous, as there were no shops in the town or nearby towns where towels could be purchased. Luckily we had relatives who were staying in accomodation 10 minutes outside the town wo drove over to give us 2 beach towels they had bought, so that we could dry ourselves adequately.

the interior, location and cleanliness of the flat

The location was good in the centre of the village near carducci House. Giuseppe kindly gave me a lift. However with luggage there are many stairs to negotiate... Its for young fit people with a back pack, who can walk from the parking some distance away.

The kitchen had no counter space to prepare food. There was no cutting board. There was a small electric hot place to cook on. The kitchen wasn't up to a good standard. The bathroom was very small, no bidet. And a step up up into the house doorand the bathroom that are an obstacle. uncomfortable and a tripping trap. In fact I fell down the outdoor stairs as the paving isn't suitable for outside areas and injured myself. The outdoor furniture is tatttered, broken unusable and full of pigeon mess. The garden seating area, was very dirty and unkept. The door doesn't lock properly
