About this house rental
Nestled in Fripp Island, this charming house for $350 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Major Renovations Completed 2023 We pay the 12.8% resort fee and provide 2 amenity cards. 4 Bedroom Home with 3 Full Baths. Sleeps 8-10. We allow 10 guests max. Large open family area on the main floor. Enjoy family meals and play games and build puzzles together. Retire to the screened in porch for a nightcap or sweet tea and watch the golfers or the local wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Local seafood is close by and always available. Kitchen Renovation completed March 2023! Main floor master with king size bed and full bath. 3 Bedrooms 2 full baths and laundry located on the second floor. A King size bed room and bunk beds (2 sets for a total of 4 beds) room share a bathroom. The 2nd floor master has a king bed and balcony. Three of the bedrooms offer a private balcony. There is a TV in each bedroom with streaming capabilities The whole house is Wi-Fi with broadband internet. For the golfers, the Davis Love designed Ocean Creek course or the Ocean Point course with its Ocean View shots are conveniently located nearby. Our property looks out to the 17th fairway of the Ocean Creek Golf Course. There is a garage and parking for 3 vehicles max. We have beach chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie boards to enjoy your days at the beach. The beach is a 5 minute stroll or a 34 second golf cart ride. There are 7 pools on the island with restaurants and and quick mart shops for things you may need during your stay. There are groceries available on the island and major grocers a short drive off the island to get supplies for your stay. Kiddos can enjoy one of the two playgrounds with climbing toys, basketball, volleyball and more. The whole family will enjoy bike rides around the island; there is plenty of wildlife to see! We have 2 bicycles for you. You can rent bikes, boats, jet-skis, kayaks, and golf carts through the island rental company "Island Excursions" 2 Amenity Cards are included in your rental. Additional cards are available for purchase. Memorial Day through Labor Day cards cost $50 a week. The remainder of the year cards are $35 a week. Cards are required for those over the age of 12. With the Resort Guest Cards, you can: dine in the on-island restaurants, play golf or tennis, swim in the resort pools, enroll the kids at Camp Fripp and rent kayaks, boats, etc. thru Rental Excursions. Great location, centrally located between beach and pools. Comfortably furnished inside, and best stocked kitchen of any beach house we’ve stayed at in 10 years.
Negatives: Prior to arrival I got a personal email from the owner detailing all of the house rules and including “clauses” named after prior guests, who had supposedly damaged the property in some way. It gave the strong impression that the owner did NOT want renters, and generalized all upcoming renters as people ready to ruin her house. As a family that travels frequently, and to Fripp twice a year for the last 10 years, and always uses platforms like this to travel, her email was the first of its kind, and left us feeling extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable before we even arrived.
Upon arrival the house wasn’t very clean. Dead bugs in all the bedrooms, minor food splatter on cabinets, and overall some of the walls, floors, and furniture seemed worn. I felt like I had to wipe down the kitchen and vacuum before we could unload. After a quick cleanup, the house was comfortable and the location was great. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

This was probably our 17-18th stay at Fripp and we loved this property! Probably for the first time ever, the kitchen was stocked with every pot/utensil we needed and we didn’t have to borrow from family in another house on the island. Great location and the updates in the kitchen are perfect!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week together. The house was perfect for our stay. The rooms with separate bathrooms worked very well for 3 adult couples. The house was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen that we needed for the meals we prepared. The grill was also a big plus. Hope to stay here again on a future visit.

We had 10 adults plus one infant staying in this beautiful home! We had everything we needed except for a high chair for our granddaughter, but we brought a travel one so big deal! We were all very comfortable!! LOADS of seating in the living room, bunk beds were very sturdy for the 4 adults sleeping in them! I would definitely stay here again.

Location of the property was perfect though a little busy on a main road (quiet at night though). Beautifully decorated and loved all of the king beds. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and my chef husband brought items from home but never needed them. The host was easy to communicate with and quickly answered our questions.

Bluegrass Beach House was wonderful! Beautifully furnished, three KING beds were amazing. The attached bunk room worked out perfectly for our two little ones. We had everything we needed and more. Beach chairs were new and a big help since several of us flew in and couldn't bring them on the plane. Also, appreciated the Gift Basket!! Highly recommend this home on Fripp Island. We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Bluegrass!! The owners have gone above and beyond in what they supply for a wonderful family time- games, bikes, beach chairs and towels, awesome stocked kitchen, such comfortable beds, and more! We have stayed on fripp many summers, and this house is the best yet!!! Also, the owners are very easy to work with and responsive!!! Loved every minute of our visit!!!

This beautiful home was in the perfect location, comfortable, fully stocked and not to mention had plenty of room that allowed us all to spread out. Did I mention the wildlife (deers) feeding all around the property?

Everything we needed!
Great place, plenty of space, everything we needed for a great vacation! The house was amazing, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with supplies. Everything was clean and neat. Beach only a short walk away and it was full of warm water and soft sand. Communication with host was easy, quick replies, very helpful. Would stay again! Highly recommend.

Awesome accommodations!
We picked this house because we needed 3 king beds and a child’s bedroom. One of the master BR was on the first floor which was easier on us retirees. We all hung out on the beautiful screened in porch and enjoyed the golf course view. All the king BR had their own private balconies. Kitchen was fully stocked! House beautiful fully decorated. Love love this house!

Beautiful Bluegrass Beach house
We really enjoyed our Fripp Island stay at Bluegrass Beach House. The house is well-appointed and cozy. My family loved it and really enjoyed cruising around Fripp on the golf carts we rented. My only wish was that the pools had been open while we were there. That is not any kind of reflection on the property itself, just a bummer.

We loved our time here. So many extra were included in the rental. Beds were great, lots of extra towels. A northeaster blew about the whole time so we spent a lot of time doing puzzles and just enjoying family time. The great room accommodated 10 people well with lots of seating. We will be back!

We loved our stay! 3 king beds! This house is perfect. Clean and lots of extras. Great sheets, towels, beach towels. Bunks great for teenagers. Ceiling fans in every room! Outlets for chargers conveniently placed by beds and sofa. (It’s the little extras!) Great location and great working with owners!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay whether relaxing on the screened porch, watching TV or playing games in the living room or having a little quite time reading in the bedroom or from its respective balcony. The home is beautifully furnished-the pictures though accurate don’t do the home justice. The kitchen is well stocked with all needed supplies. There is plenty of space to gather as a family as well as space to seek a little solitude both indoors and outdoors. The property is also close to the beach and the marina. The homeowners were very quick to respond and answer any questions. I would recommend this home to others and we plan to return next year!

Great House!
We stayed here with our two kids (18 mo. and 5) and friends and their two kids (12 and 5) and had the best time! The house was so comfortable with lots of great spaces to hang out and lovely comfortable bedrooms. The design of the space was comfortable and relaxing and very clean! Finally, the kitchen was really well stocked making having lovely dinners and drinks possible! It was close to everything and we’ll totally be back!
