The position in the village Karterados is very strategic: close to the airport, close to the harbour and in the middle of the island which facilitates moving across the island. Away from the noise of main villages, if you want flexibility in moving around you need to rent a car or motorcycle (strongly advised the last one).
Nevertheless, the Hotel offers a free shuttle service leaving every day at 5:30 PM to Fira and coming back punctual at 9:30 PM.
The rooms have an amazing Santorini style, they are spacious and well equipped.
The personnel is super kind, attentive towards customers and punctual in every request.
The swimming pools offer a very relaxing environment and the annexed bar service open from late morning until late afternoon is very practical.
We had a great time at the hotel and there is nothing else we could ask or wish. Strongly recommended!

The breakfast was very nice with a great spread. The pool area was fantastic, and the surrounding pomegranate trees were beautiful. We also had a beautiful view from our terrace overlooking the surrounding area.
The room was a little dirty when we arrived; the previous guest spilled something sticky, and there were ants in our kitchen area. The room also didn't have a bottle opener. We asked twice but were never brought one.

This hotel is more like a resort. If you want to be close to everything it's not the place for you, but it's well worth renting the car and staying here away from everything. You could easily not go anywhere, but obviously you will.
Our cave style room was so awesome, with an upper level with our bedroom which walked out to a cute balcony overlooking the pool. The main floor balcony was spacious with a hot tub, that was a blessing to come home too after walking all day.
The pool was refreshing and great start and finish to each day with plenty of comfy loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was good and included in your hotel cost. The pool bar drinks are sadly overpriced making us not purchase and provide our own from the store.
Staff were friendly and the front desk young girl was awesome.
Our only complaint is the furniture on our deck, my husband sat on a chair and it broke due to being so old. He hit his head on the concrete (thankfully was okay). But we did tell them, they took one chair away and left the second chair which was in the same condition and never replaced the missing chair. The young girl was so amazing at the front but we thought a follow up from the Manager would have at least been nice.
