The design of the cottage is nice.

Washrooms were bad. Smell was coming. No water pressure. Washbasin of the hall was leaking. The switch of geaser inside the house was not working. Even the shower of the washroom was not working. We were going outside toilets.. In short property is not maintained.

Camping would be a better option - at least you’d be sleeping in your own filth and not someone else’s!

I liked the photos on booking.com, but they were very misleading. The host sent his young son to greet us and he was very kind.

I didn’t like most things about this property: -the host did not pin the exact location -host was not there when we arrived -the place was FILTHY and we had to vacuum it ourselves -kid toys were broken and not usable -playground was rusted, broken and full of cigarette butts -complained to host about the state of the house and he told us we could leave if we wanted to rather than coming to clean it or help -zero toilet paper, towels etc -it was not 3 bedrooms - there were 2 hospital beds in the majlis (third bedroom?) and it was outside of the main space (not pictured on booking.com) -beds were very uncomfortable -if you’re looking for a bare istraha, this is it! it’s not suitable for families to sleep in unless your standards for cleanliness are very low.

Enjoyed. Very comfortable and lots of room. Clean and worked great for a family with 4 kids.

Had a lot of beds and extra blankets. Kitchen was fairly functional and useable. Small area for kids to play in the yard was nice. Very clean.

Some discarded wood and metal around the yard was a bit of a hazard for small kids.

Worth to stay with family and kitchen Facilities good.

Area was calm and quit, but the owner have supported to provide the major places location in WhatsApp in order to get easy for food / tour places. With Family we have enjoyed the chalet house.

But No WIFI, little far away from the city

Superb

Great value, large house in compound just a little bit out of Umlujj - nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable and nice to have the place to yourself. The owner was very welcoming and very easy to deal with - thanks for a great one night stay!

It was very clean and neat, price was very reasonable given the size of property, totally felt like home, had playground for volley ball and games for kids which truly defines the property is perfect for families. Would love to stay again if I ever visit umluj, the owner did help me with good locations to go around in umluj and he was very kind to receive me late night around 12 a.m.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, yes I would advice the property owner everything is perfect as it is, but the property can be improved by growing a grass garden with date trees and it will make a perfect natural sitting area for guests. Please make a grassy garden it does require a natural grass land 🤗

Overall was fine and we made it work, but wouldn't recommend for several nights or large groups.

House was very big with lots of outdoor space and some toys for kids. House was clean, tidy and spacious but had limited facilities. Host was kind, got in touch straightaway and provided lots of locations of interest - however only spoke Arabic, no English, and only took cash.

There is only one very basic bathroom with a shower, and 2nd toilet and sink outside; and one of the bedrooms are outside as well. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable, especially the single stretcher beds packed into the one room. Thankfully we were only there for one night and could make it work, but would've been hard to stay there any longer with more than 5 adults. Location is quite hard to find, and far away from the beach and any shops.

All-in all, I would stay here again. The host is super helpful. I will recommend this place.

The location is in a quiet desert neighborhood. Camels and sheep roam the streets around the house. It was centrally located so we could easily drive to the beach or into the mountains. The host was very kind. he offered us a lot of information about where to go and what to see. He helped us arrange a boat for the day. The house is large enough for 2 or three families. It is nicely decorated and has a large yard/ patio with a grill. He even let us use his sand sled! The host was very accommodating. He offered us a discount to be friendly. He is a very nice man. I would stay here again. It was very peaceful and we felt very safe.

The house should be stocked with basic supplies like pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils. Be sure to bring your own. Make sure you bring water for drinking. Also, the local neighborhood store did not have toilet paper, so bring that too. The kitchen was not as clean as I would like. There was leftover food in the fridge. When I opened a drawer, cockroaches scurried away. But it was only in one drawer. I did not see them anyplace else. Be aware that one of the bathrooms is outside of the main house, still attached to the house, but outside. So is one of the bedrooms. The yard needs to be cleaned up. The trampoline is in disrepair and I am not sure about the safety of the swing set. We did not have any kids with us so it did not bother us. The patio was great, though. Really the good things were more than the bad things.

Nice stay.

Very friendly host, explained to us all the places around, suggesting us activities to do etc., clean toilets and surroundings.

No wifi, the kitchen was abit messy.
