I liked that it was on the outskirts of London but very close to a Train station so we was able to hop on a train/ tube into the big city.

bathroom needs a little more updating, beds wasn’t very comfy. Also didn’t like that there was no fresh milk left for Guests, after a long journey a cup of tea would have gone down perfect.

It was so clean, homely, well equipped, the owners are friendly. Such a lovely place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. There is Netflix, WiFi, plenty of bedding and is warm. Too warm for my liking but I have my windows open every day if the year but everyone else liked how warm it was.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Very regular updates and optimal information from the hosts, top notch. Easy to access the building, no key hassles Not a secluded area Television with Internet and even Netflix available, nice touch

Parking majorly: I think the location of the bin perpetually makes neighbours feel no one would be needing to stay there hence blocked at the driveway. Very long delay getting a parking spot after driving back and forth hence parked at adjacent street having to pull our luggages all the way.

Loved the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the owners in responding to our queries.

The smell of mildew/mold/damp as soon as we entered the property and for our stay. There was a few spots on ceiling in 1st bedroom but smells very strong in bathroom kitchen and out house. If this was rectified professionally and to a high standard I think we would definutly come back again.

Bed was comfortable, rooms large enough living room spacious good to have rear garden.

Few issues with the neighbours and location (loud into the night, difficult to sleep) also made aware of an issue with small fly's in the bathroom on day of stay, no time to make alternative arrangements but a 'small fly issue' was basically an un-usable bathroom. Good photos makes it look alot bigger then it is.

The kitchen was well equipped and items such as tea, coffee and sugar was a bonus. The WiFi was great and the TV was a good size. The garden was a good size and secure. The shower was also very good.

The location of the property does not make one feel safe and secure, certainly not an area you’d want to walk after dark. That said once inside the property it feels a little safer. The cleanliness of the property was rather poor. The floor was covered in crumbs and hairs, as was the sofas. Thankfully I located the hoover and was able to whizz this around before sitting anywhere and taking my shoes off. The rug in the lounge looked awful so I rolled it up and put it out in the lean-to for the duration of my stay. It was horribly stained, and I really wanted to throw it out, but put it back down before I left. The floor didn’t appear to be mopped and the mop itself was filthy. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were fine but I gave them a clean anyway. The bedrooms were in good order, however the beds were uncomfortable and made for a poor nights sleep. There were little things like mouldy grout in the bathroom, the light fitting in the lounge being tied up with a bit of electrical wire and tape, the curtain poll in the lounge has been tapped together with what looked like masking tape, and I’m pretty sure the sofa bed in the lounge is broken somewhere, it makes an awful noise and dips in the middle. The place needs a little tlc and a proper clean between guests…. Oh and please throw that nasty rug away!

The check out time was too early. TV did not work, poor channel8

We had to use both beds as they were very bouncy (we are used to firm mattresses) but surprisingly enough we both had a couple of very good nights sleep (might have to change our mattresses) Very clean and everything is there especially if staying longer than a couple of nights (we were there due to business and quick family visit). Would defiantly advise contacting the owners if the heating is not working as they control the switch to turn on/off. Water always on though.

We felt the building itself needs a bit more tlc in places and considering we have had lockdown this could have been rectified. There is a nice size garden with a decking area, but not so sure about the garden itself with young children as it is all shingle and slate - but there again it may be work in progress and they are going to turf all or part of it. Might be an idea to have a grab rail over the bath before someone manages to pull the radiator off the wall - due to my husbands mobility problems, we did have a bit of an issue getting him in and out of the bath for his shower.

Clean and owners seem lovely

Not sure if owners are aware but the Sofa is broken and very uncomfortable to sit on :-( Smelt of cigarettes, think it must have been the last guest that stayed so not the owners fault at all. If no smell and the sofa wasn’t broken would’ve definitely given it a 10
