It is a great location in Fontainbleau and the building itself is quaint and very attractive.

The shower had no holder (it was broken). The apartment wasn't properly cleaned as there was some dirt in the shower and a fake eyelash left on top of the bathroom cabinet. Plus there was a lot of dust everywhere, particularly in the bathroom and hallways. The kitchen facilities were broken/not great, so we did not use them. When we booked we were promised two double beds and a futon bed. Unfortunately, there was no third bed, so two of us had to sleep together. The booking.com profile also states that there is parking. This is not the case, and we ended up having to spend €22 on parking during our first night. I messaged the hotel staff (whom we never saw) about this, but I did not get a response, despite their introduction message claiming to be available 08:00-20:00 for any queries via message. Not happy with the stay, and I wouldn't stay here again.

Lack of furniture (not a single wardrobe), broken toilet, not ironed bad sheets, tiny room upstairs and ridiculously narrow stairs.

The location is great.

The apartment hasn’t been remodeled for 20+ years: furniture, kitchenware, electrical devices are extremely old, rusty. I wasn’t brave enough to use an old frying pan that was missing protective frying surface. The door of the closest was disattached and was just put to stand against the wall. See attached picture. The cleaning was done superficially, the bottom part of the dining table is sticky and oily, there is sticky dirt in corners of the apartment. There was one tiny toilet paper for three people, some left overs or shampoo and soap from previous guests. Overall the apartment felt like an old dirty hostel.
