About this house rental
Come “play hooky” in our little piece of paradise. Hardwood floors throughout, full size washer and dryer, and room for the whole family. Sitting on the second level porch you will enjoy gorgeous views of the Gulf as well as Dog Island. Boaters can put their boats in only a quarter mile away at the convenient boat ramp at Lanark. Playing Hooky is the perfect place for families. The beach is in your front yard so no long, heavy hauls with kids and toys.
Enjoy the downstairs covered patio complete with a picnic table and a grill with plenty of room to entertain. In the colder months be sure to bring your s’more necessities and relax by the outdoor fire pit.

We had a great stay! The house was very well stocked and laid out. The beach is perfect if you have kids on the younger side. Our kids had a blast seeing all the sting rays, crabs, and dolphins. The beds were super comfortable which is unusual in rentals. I only had a few very small, small complaints. The ceiling fans were super dusty. I’m not sure when the house was last used, so it could have been something to do with that. The living room/dining room could use some full curtains. It gets quite hot up there during the afternoon, but we couldn’t block the sun out. And then, the dining room table is very unstable. It gave out a few times. Other than that, we loved it. Our kids are already asking when we can come back.

Weekend getaway for our daughter’s 15 birthday. Family of 4. This place was absolutely perfect! Very relaxing. Great views. Bringing binoculars next time! There were blue herons, pelicans, seagulls, and willets (we think). We were so comfy in the house and slept great! We would definitely book again!!

We loved the place! It was perfect for our younger kids to play on the beach and in the shallow water! The views were awesome, the house was clean and had everything needed to have a enjoyable time!

This place was perfect! The views are amazing. The home was perfect and cozy for our family of 6. Absolutely amazing hosts and we will be traveling again. This is not far from all the spring break fun but without having to stay right in the chaos. We were able to relax and slow down a bit and beach right out the back door!
